I think the game will be multiplatform, but I guess one hope can hope it's an Exclusive (PS3).
If it's Multiplatform, I'm going to be very interested in seeing how he handles development with it.

Since this huge announcement is supposed to be happening later on today and Kojima's Keynote is Tommorrow, then I think MGS4 on 360 (the rumor that will never die) and MGS5 announced as multiplatform at GDC can definantly be ruled out.
I think it's Mass Effect 2, the announcement of a new sequel, or a new IP.

Last year at Leipzig, Yoshida from Sony mentioned that Team ICO's game would be shown "soon".... I think that it was probably supposed to be revealed at TGS last year, but maybe wasn't ready yet. This year I think it'll be ready for an unveiling.

Since Ueda is STILL being so secretive about the game, it seems like it'll be a while before it's revealed, but I hope it's revealed by E3 because I don't want to wait all the way until TGS.

Meh, I don't think this "OnLive" thing is going to be having any significant impact on the future of consoles. For it to even have a chance, whoever is responsible for it will definantly need to do some serious advertising to convince people to buy it when there's plenty of people already comfortable with their consoles.

I know that there will be a Kojima Keynote tommorrow and Satoru Iwata's Keynote is today, but I haven't heard anything about either a Microsoft or Sony Keynote.... this is just GDC, not E3 and I don't think there's a keynote from either Sony or M$.

Team Ninja did a stealler job with Ninja Gaiden Sigma for the PS3 back in 2007, and Itagaki had no involvement with Sigma for the PS3. For Team Ninja's first PS3 game, they did a hell of a job and they did it without Itagaki.
The only thing that remains to be seen is if Team Ninja can make a new IP without Itagaki's guidance, because the only thing Team Ninja has done is Dead or Alive and Ninja Gaiden.... but I think they have the skills to do ...
I remember hearing of this Target PS3 bundle last week, and it was confirmed to be selling at $399 last week as well.
Instead of announcing a price cut at GDC, it looks like Sony is continuing to focus on giving more value for the same price, but to get Software sales where Sony really wants them, they are going to have to drop the price eventually.
A price cut announcement at E3 sounds more likely.
I didn't expect DC Universe Online to be coming out this year at all, but I did think that The Agency was gonna come out this year. Considering the lack of info regarding those games, I'm not that surprised really.... I can't even remember the last time I've heard new info on The Agency, and DC Universe Online was just officially announced last year at E3.

I think it looks a lot better than the retail version. I'm more of fan of darker electronics (preferably black) anyways, and it looks a LOT more eye catching, sleek, and sexy than the White ones.
If this 360 had an all glossy finish, it would definantly rival the PS3 as a very sleek and sexy console.

Personally myself, I WILL buy Single Player only games at full price, but ONLY if it's a game I'm really looking forward too, and the game is from a developer or franchise that I'm a big fan of. Also, I'm more of a Single Player gamer and always have been.
For instance, I went out and bought Uncharted Drakes Fortune the exact day it came out at full price, but I wouldn't have done the same for any other Single Player only game lik...

If it does take up to 8 years, that's a long a$$ time to wait, but sometimes I think the longer you make fans wait for a game, the more excitement there is for the game. Judging by his comment, I think it's pretty obvious that the next Resident Evil game won't be on the 360 or PS3.

LOL, You've GOT to be kidding me. Microsoft isn't going to be buying SquareEnix.
SquareEnix isn't just ANY average sized 3rd party developer, they are a Billion Dollar Company with Thousands of Employees (Over 3,000).
Microsoft has money, but I doubt Microsoft's Gaming Division would have the money to be buying out a company of the Size of SquareEn...
Even with this news, my anticipation for any big announcements will be VERY low. GDC really isn't the place for a bunch of big game announcements, but I'll take it with a grain of salt.
Just because there might be some Gears of War 2 announcements doesn't mean there's a whole bunch of other huge announcments lined up. I think people are taking what Geoff Keighley said out of context and are hyping it up more than it should be.
