The only games that I buy at full price of $60 bucks for the most part are almost always exclusives that I'm really looking forward too... I've only bought a small handful of 3rd party games at full price like Dead Space when it first came out, Fallout 3, and GTA4
I wouldn't say that I'm "happy" about the prices, but I think Exclusives to one console are the only games that should be sold at $59.99, and ALL 3rd party games released on multiple platforms should be $40-45...
When I first heard of this game, I instantly brushed it off, but I have to admit, after I saw the trailer ( I only saw it for the first time early this year) it actually looked really good.
I think that Bayonetta will probably be about just as good as Devil May Cry 4, but it's going to take a lot to even come close to God of War 3's Epic-ness, production values, and amazing story line.

I have to agree with Zeus, I would have to go with Gran Turismo as well, but not just because of sales, but because the franchise has been around since the Playstation 1. God of War on the other hand has only been around since later on in the PS2's lifecycle
Yes, God of War has made it's impact, but Gran Turismo's impact has been there for Sony much longer.
Don't get me wrong, I love the God of War franchise, but games like Gran Turismo is what built the foundation...

Come on, Literally ANY game has a better chance of making more money if it was released on another platform such as the PC. Considering that EVERY Gran Turismo game has sold over 8 million copies, Gran Turismo 5 and every other GT game will sell well on the Playstation platform alone.
Regardless of why the writer wants Gran Turismo 5 to come out on the PC, the fact still remains: Playstation 1st party Exclusives like Gran Turismo DO NOT come out on any other platform, period.
Titles developed by SOE like The Agency and DC Online Universe are the only Sony titles that'll come out on both the PS3 and PC, other than that, Sony is doing the right thing by keeping their 1st party titles only on Playstation.

Both God of War 3 and Uncharted 2 look equally amazing to me, and since both games are 2 different genres and have 2 different types of play styles, I think it's a little difficult to compare them equally... either way, they are First Day purchases for me regardless.
The game looks amazing so far, and of course, it's a day one purchase guaranteed for me. Hopefully at E3 Naughty Dog will confirm a release date :)
I've had my same 60GB PS3 since launch and never have had any problems with my PS3. I had never heard of this "Yellow Light of Death" until last year, but it's nothing I'm worried about, I use my PS3 with confidence every single day.

The game could take place right after the Big Shell Incident, and start where Metal Gear Solid 2 left off. There's a 7 year time gap between MGS2 and MGS4, so there's plenty of story that can be told.

I prefer the PS3 and the PS3 is my main system, but there's no way I see the 360 in any trouble in the foreseeable future.
When Sony drops the price (depending how low), it definantly has the potential to make a big impact globally because the PS3 has already proved it can outsell the 360 at a higher price point, but the 360 will be in no trouble whatsoever and neither will the PS3. Articles like this on both sides of the console war are just getting ridiculous.
Releasing The Last Remnant on the PS3 would be like releasing HAZE on the Xbox 360.... just a complete waste of time.
If Square ever does release The Last Remnant for the PS3, they should just release it in Japan.
If the Xbox 360 version was filled with tons of issues and Square couldn't get the 360 version right, then the PS3 version more than likely would have turned out worse.
I've had this months issue of Playstation Magazine since early March... I saw the date they had for God of War 3, but didn't take it totally seriously just yet because Sony Santa Monica themselves haven't officially announced the release date, and Late 2009 has always been the Rumored Date.
... If I'm not mistaken, Sony Santa Monica said that the God of War 3 release date will be revealed at E3, so eventually well all know.

Sony Santa Monica are supposedly going to be announcing a release date at E3 too. I'm hoping for a Late 09' release, but I guess Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 will tide me over until March 2010 if GOW3 doesn't come this year :)
I think it's ridiculous to even make such claims that OnLive will possibly take over the PS3 and 360 whenever this OnLive thing hasn't even been released yet and it hasn't made any impact at all.
Playstation and Xbox are established brands, and something like OnLive isn't going to just take them down without a fight.

The PS3's cheapest price point is $399, obviously there isn't going to be that many "kids" that own a PS3 at this point in time, but saying that the PS3 will "never" appeal to younger audience at this point in time in the PS3's lifecycle is rather dumb, and Sony has appealed to the casual each and every generation.
