Bitter, much? lol
It's cool how you ignore that GT5 released late in November, and that companies can't falsify numbers for legal reasons.
But keep on trollin'. I enjoy the comedy.
Why the emphasis on "how many people actually OWN GT5"?
What difference does it make to you? If you own the game, and you're enjoying it, that's most important.
If you don't own the game, then you just want the numbers so you can do some virtual "chest beating" - either because it sold well, or some "gloating" because it didn't.
I assume you do the same, since you post in sales threads, Captain Tuttle. Unless you don't actually play games.
If the console "war" this gen is already over, then the Wii already won. ;-)
Didn't GT5 release Nov. 24? For it to place 8th for the month, with only 6 days of sales, is a solid performance.
That 84% is working out great, actually, considering I play the game. There's no console for Metacritic averages. ;)
I'm anxious to play it and glad I have the chance now, thanks to it going multiplat. :D
Day One.
Congrats to Nintendo! Fantastic numbers. The industry had a great November.
Not like that matters in a Nintendo thread.
Strong sales indeed. Congrats to MS! Now, how about acquiring some studios to produce exclusives for all those consoles?
LOL@Disagree. What's the problem? Congratulating MS on strong sales, or suggesting they invest some money in acquiring studios, which its gaming division really needs?
Fanboy fools.
MS does not have an endless supply of funds, however. The slowdown in the home PC market, plus the strengthening competition in the Internet browser, OS, and productivity suite markets, has been putting pressure on MS in areas that have traditionally been cash cows for the company. Sluggish sales of the Windows 7 phone hasn't helped either.
MS is banking on Kinect's success. It needs to succeed in order to strengthen their console business. While the 360's sales...
It doesn't matter that the games got pushed back from 2010. They're coming out in 2011, which makes 2011 a great year for PS3 gamers in terms of the lineup.
That's why they say PS3 has an amazing lineup for next year. Because it does.
Keep telling yourself that, if it helps.
Because you taste in games determines what everyone else likes, right? lmao
Owning more than one console doesn't prevent you from being a fanboy. Your post shows clear bias, because you state that no one is buying PS3 exclusives, which isn't true.
You may not like the fact that PS3 exclusives sell, but that won't take away their sales.
It's funny how some 360 fans love to talk about sales, yet refuse to acknowledge Nintendo's complete sales dominance in the current gen, or Sony's strong sales performance....
You're so blinded by console loyalty that you can't acknowledge the great titles put out by Sony in 2010? That's a shame. Take off the blinders. Gaming is more fun that way.
I'm not in the U.S.
"Xbox Live is a good enough reason to own an Xbox 360..."
Not for me, it isn't. That's like saying Blu-Ray is a good enough reason to own a PS3, which it isn't.
Interesting list, though I hope MS announces more for its non-Kinect-owning audience.
