Wondering where the time went

I never sat down and played a racing game before "GT5," and I've enjoyed every moment of it. I like the challenge. It's hardly inaccessible to the average player. Some players want to be spoonfed and handheld. Not all of us do.

HD Remakes are 'fan appreciation,' obviously, since they offer fans the choice to play the older games with improved graphics, etc.

I enjoy updating my game collection with the HD remakes of games I enjoy, since I have a high-definition TV.

But I *could* have it on my PC. ;)

Sony "screwed over customers" with GT5? Does that mean MS "screwed over customers" with Too Human, or the RROD fiasco, or the fees for XBox Live?

No.

Because if people enjoy something, and they choose to pay for it, the company that provides the entertainment product isn't "screwing anyone."

Don't preach about corporate integrity to try and justify your hatred for a particular brand. Enjoy your game...

'Remain relevant?'

Only in the minds of console loyalists is the PS3 irrelevant. The Playstation brand remains globally strong, no matter how much you wish otherwise.

If I'm gaming, and having fun, I don't care what I look like. Who cares what people look like playing Kinect as long as they're enjoying themselves?

Agreed. Licensing the tech could be an even stronger source of revenue for MS than restricting it to use in gaming.

Both for me.

Great application for the Kinect tech!

My bank account will weep at its emptiness. :D

Why do you care how the PS3 is doing? You obviously have no interest in the console, so why not spend time discussing the console you *do* actively enjoy?

The difference in this generation is, of course, that the install bases are much closer together. Thus, the console warriors on both sides of the 'battlefield' adjust their arguments to favour their own 'side' when it suits them.

Which proves how silly battling over consoles is, really.

A worthy choice. There were a lot of great games this year.

This guarantees great sales for "Bulletstorm" on 360. That's a great move on MS' part. Plus, it gives "Gears" fans a chance to see what the new title has in store.

Excellent bonus!

It certainly provides great value for money in terms of provide an excellent, all-around, gaming and media experience.

So my library of PS3 games doesn't exist? lmao

Why can't you fans of other consoles/platforms just accept and acknowledge that the PS3 provides some of us with great gaming entertainment and media experiences? I don't own a 360, but I have no problem with its popularity. The point of the entertainment industry is to entertain.

Not everyone enjoys online multiplayer. I can't be bothered with it. I'd rather Sony concentrated on providing great single-player games with some online content for those who want it, rather than focus on online multplayer.

*applauds*

It's worth buying as far as I'm concerned. I've wanted to play the series, and since I own neither a 360 nor a gaming PC, this will be my chance.

You youngsters, all spoiled with your 'faster loading times.' When I was a kid, you had to load a game from a cassette tape. And you had to hope that tape didn't get warped, twisted, or cut. Yesiree.
