I wouldn't call it a killer feature. The PS3 supported up to 7 controllers connected at once, and I doubt that had any impact on its sales.
Can't wait to see how this strategy pans out. Great news for XBox gamers!
I live in Canada. The XB1 doesn't offer me more value for my money, sorry MS.
Definitely have to pick this up.
PS4 was the clear choice for me.
I'm wary of these kinds of predictions, but it's clear that Sony will outsell MS globally, given MS's limited-release strategy.
It will be interesting to see the launch sales numbers here in North America. The PS4 has the price advantage, which will be important to the general consumer - the person who doesn't spend time on gaming boards, etc. XBox has built up a considerable fanbase, and I'm curious to see whether or not the fanbase will adopt the new co...
It's all subjective. Just because you don't like PS4's launch line up doesn't mean the games aren't good. They're just not to your taste.
MS has shown me no exclusive games to make me consider buying an XB1, but that doesn't mean those games are bad. They're just not interesting to me.
I never used an external drive with my PS3, so this is a non-issue. I'll just swap out the HDD if I need more space in my PS4.
Yes, because Sony certainly doesn't supply AAA games, nor are there any second-party games coming for PS4.
Try harder. lmao.
For me, the clear choice is PS4. Sony has delivered quality gaming experiences for me since 1997, and I have no doubt they'll continue with PS4.
At this point, I won't be buying an XB1. There's no point. I tend not to play console games online, I have no interest in MS' exclusives, and Kinect is useless to me. Since I live outside the US, the XB1's multi-media features don't apply. Since the only thing behind Sony's paywall is online multiplayer, I...
Or offer to sell you faster Internet speeds for a higher price. At least that's how it is here in my part of the Great White North. I
On-topic: Of course someone's online experience is limited by his or her broadband speeds. This isn't news to anyone with common sense.
Love the Vita. It's a great multimedia device. I use it daily and have never regretted my launch edition purchase. I'm hoping TGS will see some JRPGs announced - still have to preorder my Ys Celceta limited edition.
Time for purchasing Spelunky.
I don't think it really matters when the PS4 and XB1 release, as long as they release around the same time. This launch is completely different from the 360/PS3 scenario. Neither Sony nor MS will get to enjoy a year+ on the market before the main competitor's console launches.
I doubt anyone will cancel their pre-order for a specific console if the other one launches a week or two beforehand.
They had ftp versions of the Sims and Sim City on Facebook, then promptly closed them down roughly two years later. Both of the games were actually pretty decent. Needless to say, I'll believe it when I see it.
I have absolutely no interest in using voice navigation for my TV, consoles, etc. I'm glad that PS camera isn't included with the console.
Yes, because corporate smack-talk is certainly the reason for PS4's incredibly strong pre-order numbers. It has nothing to do with the price point, games offered, etc. Talk about delusional, lol.
All Sony needs to do is emphasize the value it brings to consumers and let MS carry on however it will. Customers will prove which strategy was the best one in the end through their purchases.
I like Sony's consistent statement of vision and their focus on working with small team indie developers. It's like an apprenticeship in a way, giving indie devs the chance to make a name for themselves and polish their skills. Some of them might even become AAA devs in the future.
That said, I thought MS did a better job than Sony. They had more to prove, and I think they've done a great job handling the huge issues they've faced since initially revealing XB1...
And yet, you replied to my comment, lol.
No, thanks. I'm fine with standard controllers.
