I'm assuming this is a troll post, but if it's not, here's some information you might want to learn before spouting that kind of BS again.
It's been 74 years since the start of WWII, which began on September 1, 1939. Any and all Japanese WWII vets who were involved in the killing of US servicemen are either a) no longer in the workforce, or b) dead.
Can't wait to pick this game it. It's nice to see a title that's truly different from the typical games on the marketplace.
Preference for a console's controller is a personal opinion, though. Playstation's controller isn't better than XBox's controller, and vice-versa. You may find one more comfortable, but that's subjective.
@Thrust - true, but I doubt casuals are going to fork over $500 for XB1 if there are cheaper alternatives. Casuals aren't interested in specs. They won't care about PS4's RAM or XB1's dedicated servers or Cloud power. They'll want the cheapest system they can play CoD/FIFA/Madden on. Not to mention that Sony is releasing in more territories at launch.
MS also has an uphill battle justifying the higher price outside the U.S., since it's entertainment/sp...
I'm confused. How is making attractive character models a bad thing? I have no problems with seeing a naked Snake, and I assume many male gamers like looking at attractive female characters.
We won't know if the design is 'exploitative' until the game is released, and MGS is a series known for its storytelling.
Let's be clear. If initial pre-orders for XB1 had run head-to-head with those of PS4, MS wouldn't have changed their policies. They wouldn't have needed to. But it became very clear very quickly that the gaming public wasn't buying into the vision MS initially had for the product. Even worse, this 'bad press' started to appear in mainstream media.
MS changed because it had to. Vision means nothing if the console sells poorly.
Sony face...
Unfortunately, some XB1 supporters on this site feel the need to downplay positive PS4 news, instead of ignoring the "other console," so nobody can be surprised that some PS4 supporters do the same to XB1 articles.
People have opinions and express them. I have no intentions of buying an XB1, but I still follow the news related to it because it's part of the gaming industry as a whole. Just because I don't plan on owning one doesn't mean I have to pretend...
I'm one of those gamers who doesn't play online multiplayer. I'd much rather play a game with my friends in the room, if I want a multiplayer experience.
So, now. I won't be paying for access to online multiplayer, but if PS+ proves its worth to me, I have no problem subscribing to it.
This is one of the reasons I'm excited by the coming gen's emphasis on indie titles.
Exactly. I don't buy a console based on specs. I buy consoles that have the games and features that are most interesting to me.
The Matador was one of the worst Boss fights I've ever slogged through. Frustration doesn't even begin to describe it. Ugh.
Given the healthy pre-order numbers for PS4, Sony doesn't need luck, lol.
I think what surprised MS most was how quickly the negative perception of the XB1's original policies seeped into mainstream media. If it had simply remained a hot topic on gaming forums, groups, and sites, we wouldn't have seen the degree of backlash that countered the XB1 reveal all the way up to post-E3.
If the negative reaction had remained amongst the 'hardcore,' I doubt MS would have changed its policies. But once it directly impacted pre-orders, the com...
Exactly. I've met jerks on the Internet, and I've been a jerk on the Internet on more than one occasion. It's just like life. There's no point in whining because Life doesn't treat you with kid gloves to protect your thin skin and delicate sensibilities. Everyone has to deal with crap.
Definitely a case of First World Problems, lol.
Exactly. Launch Day is great, but the real challenge for both Sony and MS will be keeping up supply to meet the Holiday Season demand.
Except that XB1 is only launching in a few European markets at first. That negates any advantage MS would have with the earlier European launch.
In your opinion.
I've never found it tough being a gamer who happens to be female. But maybe that's the key. I see myself as a gamer first, since my gender has absolutely nothing to do with how I enjoy the hobby. I enjoy playing games with attractive male characters, and I have no issue with male gamers enjoying sexy female characters in games.
I bought 'Resident Evil 4' when it launched on Gamecube and the original 'Devil May Cry' for PS2 precisely because I thought t...
@Dan Scruggs - Sony doesn't take risks with their tech? For PS3, they developed the Cell processor, and the used Blu-Ray Disk as the optical format for the games.
Those aren't risks?
