Once we get news of the FCC certification for XB1, we'll have a better idea of when they'll be able to launch. I'm sure MS will get XB1 out as early as they can. They don't want to give Sony the advantage of an earlier launch at a cheaper price point.
PS4 offers me the best value for my money, but value is subjective.
We all have our preferences. To me, a fanboy is a person who can't express their opinions about consoles or games without personally insulting people who don't agree with his opinion. There's a difference between saying, "I enjoy Console X for these reasons," and "I enjoy Console X, and anyone who likes Console Y is a <insert insult>."
I prefer Sony to MS, but I respect every XBox gamer's right to spend his or her money on whatever co...
Hopefully, Sony will keep the momentum going by ensuring a steady stream of titles post-launch. If they can avoid game droughts, then they're in very good shape for the start of this coming gen.
That's great. Enjoy your XB1. My PS4 pre-order will stay in place.
Yeah, I'm not a guy. ;)
Why shouldn't I explain the reason for my preference? Another poster in this thread described why he's chosen XB1. Does he sound like an MS press conference? lmao
I remember watching Jack's first E3 presser a few years ago. He was so nervous. It's nice to see how he's become much more comfortable speaking on camera.
PS4. XB1 doesn't offer me the diversity of gaming experiences that Sony brings to the table, particularly with its new focus on indie developers. Add that to the lower price point with no motion camera included, and Sony's strong history of creating amazing first-party games, and my choice is clear.
I've also been gaming on Sony consoles since the 90's, so my history with Playstation goes back to my college days.
I'm not sure about that. MS' advertising budget will have an impact, but PS4's lower price point is an advantage that will be hard for MS to overcome at launch.
As long as they have penalties in place for jackasses who falsely flag content, I think this is a pretty great idea.
Dear gods, I need this game in my life. Now.
I can see me buying this for multiple platforms, lol.
I thought that, too! I'm really looking forward to this game. I love the art style and the gothic feel to it.
I was that way with 3DS. I wanted one, but I couldn't pull the trigger until 'SMT IV' and 'Animal Crossing: New Leaf' came out.
That's a shame. It's a great device.
I always play as male characters, if I have the option to. I don't immerse myself in games. I enjoy the escapism element. And if I'm going to be spending hours of my life staring at a sprite, I'd rather that character be a sexy hunk of pixelized manhood.
I've never played 'Minecraft' before, so I'm looking forward to purchasing it for PS4.
I love the 'Wild Arms' series. A new installment would be fantastic. Any JRPG announcements for PS4/Vita/PS3 would be welcome news for me.
I'm the opposite. MS has showed me no reason to plunk down $100 more for XB1. The diversity of Sony's launch-window titles, plus the easy-to-develop-for hardware, and the cheaper price point combine to make it the perfect choice for me.
Since PS4 has over 1 million pre-orders, it's obvious that I'm not alone. Sony is clearly not desperate. They have no need to be. PS4 will have a very strong launch. That much is clear.
Does anyone know if the XB1's FCC certification is completed? I know the PS4's went through in July.
If any company has hard to learn that lesson the hard way, it's Sony.
