I was really excited for this game too. I was blown away at the technical feats the game could accomplish at the time.
That's less than 1% of the total PS3 game library.
These types of games are rare on these current consoles. If you are seeking a game like Final Fantasy Tactics then this is worth checking out.
Seems to be a hidden gem. Looks fun!
I went to Gamestop last week to buy some games.
I wanted a used copy of Sniper Ghost Warrior for PS3.
A copy was available for 29.99.
I walked over to Walmart and found a new copy for 19.99.
I checked the Gamestop website today and it is listed used for 17.99.
Based on the information above I would have gotten ripped off regardless of the reasoning behind this.
Anyway I have had many experiences with GameStop over the years (...
That's one way to get people's attention.
Shocking news. I never expected it to go this way. All I ever wanted was to be able to access my games without barriers for the rest of my life. Not have someone punish me as a consumer all in the name of averting piracy. I don't even care if they say I don't own the content and just have a license. Just as long as I have complete control over my game purchases. If they can find a way to do that, I'll be a very happy online gamer.
Furthermore, I wish for ...
Based on the comments this should be a single player game. Me.
In other words, you own the structure, not the function. Am I correct?
If so then let's ask ourselves why we bought the structure. Did we buy it because we value the structure or did we buy it because we value it's function? Or did we buy the structure in order to access it's functions?
It is likely one's value in something is placed in it's purpose, whether that be the physical or the nonphysical. The purpose of something can be s...
Agreed. Many consumers are going to be very upset at the end of this console generation. Many do not know, or even understand, that their games are tied to a service. They are spending alot of money under the pretense they are going to keep their games. There is no way consumers are going to pay ownership prices after they realize the true value of their purchases....a glorified rental. I see a drastic drop in prices in the digital market once they realize the true value of digital cont...
The secret of the generation...revealed only when it's over.
"A game that everyone likes."
That's a tall order. Let's try to understand what it means first. For starters this concept would be coming from the developers table. It is more than likely it sources from the demand to make more money. They want to make a game that becomes a hit and sells alot. They are willing to apply this concept to already established franchises as well as new ones.
Realistically, it is near impossible to make ...
I'd give the game an 88%. They did a great job making the swinging fun. There were some unique ideas in the game not done before in other spider-man games. Also, the side missions, while a tad repetitive, opened up in variety over time. I can't say more without ruining the experience.
Great game. Worth playing.
The game is definately good. As good as Spider-man 2's swinging mechanics.

Now, if only they can do this to crappy games.
Played the game yesterday. Swinging mechanic as fun, if not better, than Spider-Man 2.
I watched my son play this game for over 6 hours yesterday. Fantastic game.
Don't listen to review sites anymore. Read about the games you like and then rent them. If you must read reviews then find a few reviewers that tend to have the same opinions as you. It's hard to do, I know, but the rewards of having reliable reviews are worth it.
P.S. This game offers two free tickets to the Spider-Man movie coming July 3rd. Bet the review didn'...
I regret not being there when the MGO servers shut down. I wanted to take photos to remember the first online game I ever played.
