I guess not then. Though I don't remember a time when I wanted a last ranked fighter to fight the heavyweight champion of the world.
As much as I like the Playstation as a brand I must agree. All Stars doesn't quite strike my interest. I'll tell you why.
Sony as a property is founded on such a diversity of products that bringing all of them together seems somewhat foreign and incompatible.
To be more specific Sony can't be everything to everyone and then bring it all together and still make it work. Not many people are going to be interested in a match up between an onion ...
You make me laugh. Stop.
I don't understand the reasoning behind disagrees here. I say something. Everyone agrees. You say you agree with me, then one person disagrees with you...but not me.
There will never be a true feeling of community using an online system that allows anonymity. With anonymity brings unaccountability. This encourages people to behave much differently, as opposed to being there in person.
There will never be a true feeling of a community if the industry is founded on division through competition. The online sector promotes their services as if it is a platform where a community is created. Yet they sell maps, modes, dlc, and passes that divi...
There really is no point to counter these articles anymore. Its tempting, I know, especially when their values are inconsistent and in much need for correction.
However, I've gotten to the point where I think its a better thing to let the ignorant consumer learn the hard way instead of trying to convince them otherwise.
All I know is I'm happy with my PS3 and the complaints about it are more the cause of gaming in an online industry...not something...
No wonder they lost my interest. That is a disappointing value system they are following. I'm beginning to wonder if they ever knew what they had.
For the sake they may be listening may I remind...
1) Interesting characters
2) Group chemistry between characters
3) A story the human race can relate to
4) Thought driven, deep, and strategic gameplay
5) Exploration of a world
Now compare which one of us ...
Maybe it was the chair that killed him.
In theory no. In execution yes.
Metacritic doesn't just average out all the scores into one number. Their method has nothing to do with math. It has to do with other factors.
If site A gives 100% and site B gives a 50% then the average score (mathematically) will be 75%. However, Metacritic weighs one review site heavier than another based on certain criteria Metacritic decides on.
They weigh heavier to those sites with established credibility. They weigh heavier to those reviews ...
I think this is a more accurate statement.
Call of Duty Is Really The Most Popular Gaming Franchise Ever.
The highest trophy earned should be for passing a video game. I think that would be more informative when looking at a gamer's profile...and more accurate as to the gamer's accomplishments and overall status in comparison to the community.
Diamond- Should be awarded for passing a game. Highest value.
Platinum- Should be awarded for achieving everything on the developer's list. 2nd Highest value.
Gold, Silver, and Bronze should be a...
Everything you use is to enhance gameplay. Gameplay is the fundimental core for interaction. Interaction involves some form of user input or control. Control is the only thing seperating this form of media from every other. It is why it has surpassed all other forms of media. It makes the experience a two way street. Without it we regress to reading books, listening to music, and watching movies.

They never really recreated that CGI treat either. Instead they decided to make the entire game visualy possible which I feel is unecessary because it becomes counterproductive to the focus on the story. When before the graphical CGI was a tool to make the player pay attention because an epic tale was being told. Now it's a commercial of Square's abilities to brag about it. Big difference when the formula isn't there.

For me I lost interest for several reasons. It began when they released FFXI Online and I didn't have internet to play it. I also didn't see how they could maintain an authentic Final Fantasy experience if they had no control over the online aspect of different players. continued below....
So I waited for the next single player experience to arrive which translated into twice the time period between installents.
By the time FFXII released I moved o...
Great game.
I can see where the confusion could happen. It's not often a title crosses genres in such a short time span like this. Had it not been for my knowledge of past X-Com games I would have assumed the recent FPS was just that..an FPS. It is true that I saw the FPS news online before I heard about the turn based X-Com remake. I almost missed this game because of it.
For some games it's best to learn from one's mistakes. It adds replayability and is part of the fun.
I'm hoping they expand the main campaign. So much potential to add more.
I agree with the reasons the author says. Many people, including myself, who haven't purchased the game will have a hard time relating to the purpose of this game.
The genres are way too spread out (as the author mentions) so every player will likely dislike 75% of the roster or not see interest in the fighting match ups. The characters range from cartoon vs. real, mortal vs. immortal, humanlike vs. animallike, etc., to the point where there can't be an establishe...
