Does metacritic score really matter? Half the 9 and above reviews I've seen on N4G aren't on metacritic and every single mixed review is. Add those 9s and metacritic is looking a lot different.
Thats bull. Halo is known for its bombastic awe inspiring campaigns within an awesome universe and as much as its hyper competitive and tightly balanced multiplayer. NO other series in gaming can boast that balance of quality. And that without evening mentioning the Co-Op package.
3 best missions for me are:
1) Silent Cartographer
2) The Covenant
3) Halo (Halo 3)
Probably the best review I've read so far. Really goes in depth on the positives and negatives of the campaign.
Wow it took years of searching but I think we gamers finally found the single worst review of all time.
How could anyone possibly disagree with this?
@NewMonday Lets be real you would've found a way to dislike this game if it were the greatest FPS ever.
Its so awesome that both Halo 5 and Uncharted 4 (my two favorite series) are releasing new entries in the next few months!
I'd say if the Uncharted trilogy and Tomb Raider 2013 were to be ranked it would go:
1. Uncharted 2 - 10/10
2. Uncharted 3 - 9.5/10
3. Tomb Raider - 9.25/10
4. Uncharted: Drakes Fortune - 9/10
All for were truly awesome games, each one of the best of there respective years. I love the direction the Tomb Raider franchise is taking with ROTR and Uncharted 4 is of course going to be incredible. I expect ROTR to be a GOTY contender thi...
All the haters are silent right now. 87 on metacritic and 10 mill sold for a new IP and a new studio is pretty damn impressive. MY personal GOTY last year.
But is it possible to surpass Among Thieves? To me its a maybe but I'm not sure if its doable. That game was so close to perfect.
Lol losing side. Please tell me you realize how ridiculous that sounds about a gaming product. Both consoles have there positives and negatives over one another whether you believe it or not. Thats a fact. It must suck dedicating yourself to one company and following it like blind devotion and missing out on so many other great experiences smh.
I mean lets all be subjective. If you take out the superfluous indies 95% of gamers will never hear of and the Japanese only JRPG's the list would look a hell of a lot different. As an owner of boy consoles i'd say the actual AAA exclusive lineup for both systems has been pretty even in terms if diversity and quality. The PS4's lineup has been consistently more diverse but Imo Xbox One's has reached better highs with its AAA's (outside of Bloodborne). Though

Granted I'm a huge Halo fan but I really think this game has the potential to be one of if not the best game of the entire year. Now I've played Bloodborne (which I loved), along with Witcher 3 and MGSV, and all of those are great games. But I just can't shake the excitement of what Halo 5 is offering.
A campaign twice the length of an average Halo story has me salivating after the character and story building chops 343 showed off in 4. Add that on top of 4 player co-op a ...
Titanfall has stealthily found its way to be one of the most underrated games of this gen. The gameplay and map design were absolutely pristine in Titanfall. Put this on top of the amazing balance between Titan vs. Pilot gameplay and the appealing art design and i'm really surprised this game didn't catch on. Sure the lack of a campaign, stupid bots, and lack of modes at launch was a problem but gameplay is always king to me in regards to any game, especially competitive multiplayer. ...
I would be way more excited for this if they released it as a full retail game instead of this chopped up episodic format. I'm ok with the episodic format if its a smaller budget game but AAA releases should always have a traditional retail release in my eyes.
While Im more interested in Xbox's lineup (obviously outside of Uncharted 4), this is a pretty bold statement. Microsoft should really just let the games speak for themselves when they release. If Halo 5 and ROTR are as good as I think they will be they shouldn't need to say anything.
Bioshock 1 and Infinite are both masterpieces that I'll absolutely play again given the opportunity. The original is arguably the best game of last generation.
It was a good but not a great game like the two classics it's sandwiched between. It worked well as a follow up to the original masterpiece but had difficulty distinguishing itself as its own unique entry in the series.
Mediocre sequels is a ridiculous statement imo.
