Give me a break! You've been bashing Halo 5 at every chance even on release date.
Halo 5 and Arkham Knight are dark horse contenders.
You can not give this game minus review score for lack of split screen. A reviewers job is to critique the product that's there not what they wanted it to be. 343 stated there was no split screen prior to release and so no one should've expected it. Microtransactions are meaningless in Halo 5 as there are no play to win methods. Everyone unlocks points at the same time to get certain vehicles or weapons. The campaigns story was hit or miss but the level design was awesome, far from me...
Suit yourself but your missing out on one of the all time multiplayer experiences.
The problem with his reviews is he finds one thing he doesn't like and keeps going back and focusing on it throughout the review. If a game has one major flaw it's dead to him. Sometimes his reviews are spot on but I've seen him give truly great games like Arkham Knight and Titanfall poor reviews for just the batmobile tank mode or Titanfalls stupid bots alone. Those were legit problems for those games but were ridiculously overshadowed by the amazing gameplay experiences those ga...
You seriously need to hop off hating anything Halo or Xbox with your free time. It's kind of ridiculous right?
I can respect the Witcher 3 for it's awesome open world design and deep lore but the combat in the game just didn't do it for me. I found it wholly unsatisfying and tedious.
This will most likely go down as the most underrated entry in the series. The multiplayer is arguably the best of the entire franchise and that says ALOT stacked up against some of the greatest competitive multiplayer suites of All time. The campaign has some story flaws but overall is still an enthralling and enjoyable ride. I've played MGSV, The Witcher 3 and Bloodborne but I honestly think that Halo 5 is my personal GOTY. Just so much quality content. Maybe Fallout 4 or ROTR can knock ...
Lol the salt...
It isn't he biggest Sci-fi shooter on the market? Because everyone knows that it just factually is. There really dint any argument to be had.
Or maybe the reviews have just seedily gone down cause of natural familiarity of sequels just like every other major long running series. Peoples expectations change with every installment and come to expect more.
Lol but you never played it the first time! Literally remember you bashing the game saying you wouldn't get it a year ago.
@NewMonday Yeah like you got the game lol.
Yes because it's not like Xbox exclusives get scrutinized to a T too. Have you seen the reactions to Halo 5?
The campaign is very good and has some awesome plot moments and mission design but you can't shake the feeling its all a little rushed.
Of all the Fps Halo games I'd rank them like this
1) Halo 3 - Best mission design of series and great end to the trilogy. Best balance of great campaign and multiplayer.
2) Halo 2 - World building single player story, Arbiter arc, and the best mp of the series.
3) Halo 5 - Great campaign with great mission design, but with weak character work brining down the good narrative. MP is the best since Halo 2 and has potential to be better.
4) Halo CE...
Halo 5 had a bad single player? The story has some poor characterization at time but the overall plot was still compelling and the mission design was awesome. People need to cool it with exaggerated opinions thinking theres is universal.
I think it is for sure. The campaign has been great through the first 5 chapters and the multiplayer is absolutely the best competitive multiplayer of this generation so far. Maybe since Gears of War 3.
I'd go:
1. Halo 3 - Best mission design of the series, great closure, Halo ate its most epic
2. Halo 2 - Amazing world building, Some great set pieces, The Arbiters arc
3. Halo 4 - Awesome characterization, Prometheans are a good change of pace, New feel
4. Halo CE - Iconic levels, best plot twists of the series, but some hit or miss mission design
5. Reach - Love how you know the ending from the start, Character moments, Last mission but t...
Halo 5's multiplayer is one of the most robust quality competitive online games of the last 5 years and easily the best of this console generation. Couple that with a great co-op experience and fun Halo campaign and you have one of the best games of the year. The shallow emptiness of Destiny can't compare imo.
