I hit the wall in late September.
I Like Dying Light and all, but your seriously saying this is game of the year in January?
I've always wished Uncharted as well as Naught Dog in general wasn't exclusive to PS. I literally bought a PS3 just for Uncharted and bought a Ps4 just for when Uncharted 4 releases. I prefer my gaming on Xbox for general esthetic reasons and think Uncharted's gameplay would be a a great fit on xbox's controller. Plus then I wouldn't have to plunk down 400$ for one or two exclusives a year. But to be fair I am interested in the Order, Bloodbourne and Until Dawn next year a...
I would like to see a GTA set in Washington DC. It could have some great political satire which could bring it outside the street criminal norm. Plus when you get a 6 star wanted level they could send the national guard to get you. I could definitely see DC being a fresh and fun direction.
Dead Space was easily one of my favorite franchises of last gen with Dead Space 2 being my favorite. I actually believer that DS2 is the most underrated game of last gen. Not because people think it was bad, because it did have a 91 on meteoritic. But because I consider it to be one of the very best games of last gen in the same league as Bioshock, Uncharted 2, ect..
I never would have thought that the Ps4 would have the weakest exclusive lineup after the first year. Sony seems primed to change that this year though so I have trouble seeing the other consoles gain to much ground on the Ps4.
We know who doesn't own a Xbox....
You say it "takes away from the seriousness of Halo." But was Halo ever really serious? I mean don't get me wrong I enjoy Halo's campaign and multiplayer a ton but both have never been serious. Halo's campaigns have generally been over the top epic fun, but actually pretty goofy. The grunts lol? The "this is the most important thing that's ever existed" music score by Marty O'Donnel (which is amazing btw). The goofy announcer in multiplayer to the thous...
They'll never be able to appease all the fans. A large faction of the fan base claims that Halo 4 was an awful game that ruined the series just because the multiplayer shared elements with cod. Many of them completely forgetting about the awesome (but not perfect) campaign. 343 is trying to strike a great balance with Halo 5 as there adding in new ideas but trying to stick true to the arena style that long time Halo fans know and love. People who don't want to see change shouldn't...
Yes but if you could only own one console this year I believe Xbox one is the best choice. It has all the muliplatform games that the WII U doesn't, and has better exclusives then Ps4 like FH2, Titanfall, Sunset Overdrive, and some others.
If we're talking sales PS4. If exclusives and the best experience are what we're talking about I'd give it to xbox one.
Lol some of the fanboys here get so defensive about their console of choice it's crazy. Sometimes I honestly think it has to be Microsoft and Sony employees on these comment sections.
Agreed with their last choice. House of Cards would be amazing.
Nah not a chance.
I hope you realize that NONE of the games the ps4 scored above 90 on this year saw their initial release in 2014. They were all ports/remasters. TLOUR, GTA5, Fez, and Diablo 3 were all released in previous years.
These were all terrible suggestions imo.
Well to be fair the Master Chief collection content is on a different planet quality wise when compared to Drive Club. We're talking about a pretty but mediocre racing game against a collection of one of the greatest game franchises of all time.
And probably about 12 million of those players were disappointed by the game.
The story lacked the Halo feel that the main games deliver so well. I think it was a combination of a weak first half and being to vague about the actual plot. I recently replayed it with one of my friends who had never played Halo before and he had very little idea of what was going on without my explanation.
Not to mention it having the weakest multiplayer of the series. But it definitely had the best forge mode.
While I'm excited for the Order, I hate seeing people say that there's a hate campaign for this game. Almost any exclusive has a legion of sad fanboys with an axe to grind about it. Anyone remember Ryse (which had some really similar accusations to the order), or Titanfall. I remember all the fanboys freaked out when it was announced Titanfall was 6 vs 6 players per game which was ridiculous. Basically sure the Order has a lot of unnecessary hate going its way, but its not the first a...
