I can totally appreciate what Cage is going for most of the time. He's super ambitious.
I would rather a game that strives to do something new and interesting and involved with changing how we perceive potential narratives within video games than something that doesn't even try.
you are online right?
Indie nonsense? why not get hyped about this game? Explain yourself.
what wonderfully ludicrous and utterly idiotic deductive reasoning.
Explain.
after reading the article, I am confused.
How can speculation and baseless conjecture be considered a "hard truth"?
Way too young.
Rest in Peace.
that was the first thing that came to mind as well.
I thought, "wow Gearbox will do anything to avoid paying that one dude..."
I'd say that while I haven't played this game, it looks really cool, and most people seem to be pleased with each new thing that comes out with it. So, as long their fans are happy, and the developer isn't actively trying to screw them over, I'm totally cool with it.
It's only when someone buys a ship for a million dollars and wants the dev to refund him for whatever reason that I lose my patience. Don't complain about "wasting" money in the end.

I don't think anyone wants Microsoft to "fail" with gaming. It's always good to have competition. But for me, I just cannot imagine spending a good deal on money on the Xbox One X, and being told that it's the most "powerful console ever" only for Microsoft to replace it 3 years later.
Is Halo just Banjo Kazooie, but in first-person, in space, with humans instead of apes, and holographic sentient AI instead of talking birds?
Just blows my mind. It's not like the God of War art director said, "...NOW this, THIS is what the game SHOULD have looked like" or something. He loves the game and felt inspired to make his own rendition of the characters. There is absolutely nothing to dislike about this story, the topic, the people covered or the opinions expressed here in the comment, especially yours.
N4G can just be absolutely baffling some days.
I suppose when I think "beautiful", I don't think DOOM (though it IS a wonderful soundtrack).

As someone who owned a PSP Phat, The psp-3000, and the Vita, the biggest problem with Sony and handhelds is that Sony did not understand nor respect the potential market for them.
The fact that we didn't get a decent shooter on the Vita is insane with the addition of the second analog stick. We got Coded Arms back in 2005, which made a stab at using intelligent auto-aim techniques to compensate for the PSP's single stick. Other games, like Syphon Filter, Secret Agen...
well said, and a very thoughtful reply.
For me, a game that showed initial promise only to squander meets the "dissapointing" criteria. Expectations, hype, word of mouth and other forms of opinion forming can be both beneficial and detrimental to the thing in question.
For example, for me personally, I found "Remember Me" to be quite dissapointing because it's rewind mechanics were so damned cool, and the world-building was genui...
I didn't know people even had expectations with Far Cry New Dawn, and this is coming from someone who absolutely adored the first 3 games (with the third one being one of the best shooters with one of the best villains of the last generation).
Days Gone is an interesting choice. It has sold well, and most players themselves say its good. Most will say that it isn't perfect, has flaws, but is still ambitious and a well-realized world. I haven't played the game, ...
you are perpetuating a generalization and applying it to an entire ethnicity.
Yeah. It is racist.
Nintendo seems to be pulling off the tech equivalent of a reverse "Expansion Pak" for 2019.
Watching a video with Lisa Ann is no different than watching Overwatch porn.
You'll never see either in real life.
