Ocarina of Time was considered an absolutely beautiful game when it came out.
...How old are you?
yup. My first thought was, "wait....this looks familar" and it's being developed by Teyon, who did Rambo.
...And it looks like they've learned absolutely nothing from the reviews for THAT game.
I thought the first was fun, the second was wonderful, and haven't played the third. Something just felt...off.
For those who played it, do you guys like it?
Ocarina of Time is overrated?
I'm not even the biggest Zelda fan, but I can say that you, objectively, are out of your mind.
Unless, of course, you wish to back up your stance with some substance.
With Jurassic World making a massive resurgence these past few years, it was always mind-boggling to me that they didn't have a new Dino Crisis in the works.
Your right. I prefer Xbox's "Eh, we got Halo, right?" slogan.
This game stopped being interesting me the second I found out that it was going to be a "live-service" game.
Wonderful. Keep supporting atrocious industry practices.
at 51 seconds in, I see what you mean. This game has the gun really close to the player's viewpoint. That is stupid, I agree.
You do realize that most people can see their arms and hands out in front of them, right?
@SegaGamer
That's why I used to love it when a magazine like GamePro would actually have a "fun factor" rating in their reviews. Graphics/Sound/Mechanics can be perfect, but if the game's sole tenant is a rock-solid Flappy Bird, scores should reflect that.
And to @RpgSama,
Games should not be given "bonus points" for not being broken. That is an expectation.
@RizBiz
So, you don't want Steam to be the digital storefront, but rather for Steam to act as a "meeting point for friends"? I honestly do not know what that means? Is this the "EGS is less feature-rich than Steam" argument?
Secondly, how exactly does Epic Exclusivity impact *your* experience playing a game? It doesn't. Unless, of course, you have a bias towards Steam because it's been around longer.
I ...
The only thing more desperate than EGS giving away free games is the person who can't fathom having to install multiple launchers for their PC, and is trying to justify any way they can why Steam must be the ONLY digital storefront worth their time.
Realism in and of itself isn't a bad thing. The game industry often strives to make something more "realistic" in an attempt to make something feel more "mature" than something that is too arcade-y or "simple".
Which sucks. But you only need to look at Naughty Dog going from Crash Bandicoot to The Last of Us or Sucker Punch going from Sly Cooper to Infamous to see this trend in action.
Games that aren't deemed "realisti...
The DRIVING in GTA IV was horrendous. Every car felt like a boat, and it was impossible to not hit something.
I am getting MGSV vibes from this...and that's not a good thing.
Don't get me wrong, I like all the little details. Visually, it is spectacular. I love the world being presented here.
But this feels like "Feature Creep: The Game" to me.
I suppose he's referring to to the idea of speccing over every little thing, but those little details acting as superfluous fluff more than anything else.
...So, it's basically "Fetch Quest: The Game".

This looks damned impressive. the smallest movements of the lip area and corners of the eye are just incredible. This is next-gen.
@Poopmist
....Except for the simple (and stubbornly obvious) fact that Ocarina of Time was widely considered to be one of the best looking games when it came out.
That alone disqualifies your point.
