Don't forget both the Musashi games, also Nier and Dissidia.
In fairness, Nomura looks for more interesting things in these kinds of games. He directed developers of XV to study how 3rd person shooters generate tension and mood and how they 'feel' and how the action feels as a result rather than their game mechanics and control schemes and conventions. I'd imagine he has a similar approach to evaluating these games.
MGSV = Good taste.
Watch Dogs = Impressive game, but good taste? Not sure.
The other two = bad taste.
The Tron world in DDD is amazing. I really wasn't too gone on the PotC level. Probably didn't help that I don't like those movies.
A Star Wars level could be good. You already know you'd get like a "light-keyblade" at the end. Also the whole 'dark-side' thing would fit perfectly with KH.
A Toy Story level seems pretty likely too. Also Wall-E, Up, and Ratatouille.
If Disney acquire Ghibli, (which would be a cr...
@s45gr32: Very good to know. I just hope people don't become TOO idolatrous of Sony...
Yeah you make good points, but then should we expect to see Abstergo Entertainment Industry office buildings dotted across the Watch Dogs map?
Also if Aiden really is on the 'outside' of it all, how on earth has he come to possess such crazy technology to control the CtOS? Sounds like something only a real insider would have.
Also, there was a blackout in AC, but only in 2012 so far as we know, not 2003.
I'd like to hear a LOT more talent. I think the way the industry is absolutely milking North and Baker is kind of symptomatic of the way its also sort of creatively stagnating - latching onto and milking the same ideas instead of innovating, and also of how the industry is failing to reconceive what a games are, and what expectations are built into them. There's been no real effort to expand the boundaries of what a game is except in the direction of big-budget Hollywood presentation....
I guess... but all that's really happening is that we the people, by our votes and polls and support, are transferring all that power to another massive company, whom I'm not sure has all that different an outlook to Microsoft.
I'm no xbox fanboy, I've never owned an xbox or and xbox 360, and I won't be buying the xbone, but I'd encourage you to read my blog: http://n4g.com/user/...
I'm not an xbot by any stretch of the imagination, and I consistently buy Sony consoles, but I'm also not a Sony fanboy, I just generally prefer what they have to offer.
However, I'd encourage some peeps to read my recent blog entry, see what you think. I'm not so sure Sony's outlook is that different to MS's...

...by another major multibillion dollar company though...
I'm not a fanboy, and I definitely prefer the Ps4, but I'd encourage people to read my blog entry: http://n4g.com/user/blogpos...
It's smart because they're gonna set up loads of deals with ISPs.
Jeez... I don't know if I'm bothered. IV was pushing it, I MIGHT get it, but another three? I just don't know... Maybe if they just made them but released them well after development was finished.
Not to mention the money. And they've already hinted that Watch Dogs is part of the same universe, meaning we have to get that too... I might jump ship tbh. I don't care about AC as much as I used to. They never really topped the reveal at the end of II.
Unbounded 2!! I actually bought Unbounded the other week on the cheap, haven't played it but it looks like the most fun ever. They should continue in that direction.
It's a little bit hard to imagine the first civilization being part of the same world as Watch Dogs though...
Waaaaaa? Damn, I wasn't gonna bother getting Watch Dogs but now it looks like I might have to. Urrgh.
A real visionary. I love how unconventional this game is. You're just plonked in a world and made to find out its mysteries with next to no hand-holding. More games should be like this.
These are all things that are obviously going to be fixed. Nit-picking.
It had best be cheap then.
Then, couldn't you just raze the city?
