God that's an awful way to die. I'm not a CoD player, but RIP.
They seem to be suggesting that people didn't like the new stuff in WotL, hence it's non-inclusion, but they're probably secretly planning to add it as DLC down the line, they just don't want to tell people that because they think it'll get an even worse reaction. When they do eventually add it, they'll be like, "We listened". Of course, it won't be free though, so they'll still get flak for it. On the other hand, maybe I'm too cynical.
Same-sex relationships have existed since antiquity, and will continue to do so. Guess what? We're all still alive, and civilization still stands. If everything ever goes to hell over all of this, it won't be because of a bunch of gay people minding their own business, it will be because of a handful of hysterical, deranged fools like yourself who can't handle reality - a reality that is very easy to handle if your brain isn't applesauce.
@1nsomniac: It seems to me that the moment you put, in your game, a character who is at once not a villain/antagonist, and is either a woman who isn't a sex object, or a person with a disability, or a black woman, or a gay person, and so on, you immediately get accused of "forcing" DEI and wokeness, regardless of whether or not that was your intent. I don't think it's as easy as you think to tell when it's "natural", or "forced". All that besides,...
This has been inevitable for a long time now. I hope they do the same for 5.
Take Two definitely wanted to remaster the games as cheaply as possible, and definitely thought that people would lap up any old crap they put out. They're greedy and cynical.
On the other hand, GSG shouldn't have tried to win the contract. The sheer volume of work versus the timeframe in which it had to be completed (by an inexperienced developer) should have scared them off. I half wonder if they "lied on their CV", so to speak. Could be that they got gr...
I'm willing to bet that this woman didn't actually do anything to deserve being talked about the way you're talking about her, but I'm guessing you're too far gone to ever see it that way.
That art looks AI-generated. Look at the sword in his right hand. The one in his left hand looks weird as well.
The Sands of Time having already been announced back in 2020, and then getting like 10 seconds of nothing during this show to announce (supposed) 2026 as the year it will come out (not a season or a month, just "2026"), is wild. I thought these huge corporations were supposed to be good at the whole marketing thing.
The highlights, I'm guessing, were supposed to be the Star Wars game (as if Star Wars isn't utterly, utterly oversaturated at this point), and...
Dudes will do stuff like this instead of just finding a girlfriend.
FarCry vibes, tbh
Does anyone care about this game anymore other than like 10 weird rich nerds? It seems to me that hype for this is at an all-time low.
RIP. Dragon Ball Z was one of my favourite things when I was young. It was and still is a pretty dumb show, but it certainly had / has its own unique charm and unmistakable aesthetic thanks to this guy.
Man though, Dragon Quest is taking a beating. First it loses it's long-time composer, and now it loses it's character and monster designer. I wonder if it will be rebooted?
JFC. Remove this article, please.
Maybe I'm missing something here, and I'm not trying to defend microtrasactions etc., but if you do the math, buying 5 costumes (when the minimum amount of Tekken coins you can buy at once is 500 for 5 dollars) ultimately costs 20 dollars, same as it would if you could specify exactly how many coins you wanted to buy (assuming 1 dollar = 100 coins), i.e. 400 coins x 5 = 20 dollars.
Edit: Realised after posting that this pattern may push people to spend 20 in order ...
I'd like to see a 2D HD remake of 5, and then 6. Even remakes in the style of the 3 and 4 remakes would be welcome, imo.
I also do think they should do an offline 11, like what they're doing with Dragon Quest X. I'd really love to experience that one. On the other hand, there'd be SO much in it that it might be a little bit overwhelming. Turning a long-running MMO into an offline game would mean adding all the various expansions, too, after all. It certainly...
I honestly agree. The overall story may be good, and the graphics are amazing, but I was cringing at all the exposition. Kojima has always been bad for this, though.
Planned end of service in 2 and a half years confirmed?
Red flags, the videogame. Pump and dump, the videogame. JP Games' first game was a F2P Metaverse-like pos (Paralympics-themed, which is cool, but lasted 6 months because JP Games Paralympics license expired - so much for that), and they've got some other game in development called "Gemina Games", which also uses Metaverse-like / Web 3.0 technology, and is basically just gamified NFT speculating. This new one is being developed in partnership with a "sales company",...
The first paragraph reads, "Falcom has announced Dragon Slayer Project, its tentatively titled 45th anniversary project for console.", and then, "A genre, specific platforms, and a release date were not announced." There's no mention of platforms on the official website, either. In fact, there's no information on the website at all.
I don't know... I'm getting a faint smell of gacha. Or maybe one of those multimedia projects that includes...
