Right on! More from that generation please! (ps1)
Hmmm, intriguing that he may not actually be Big Boss...
It's articles like this that put the idea in peoples heads that jrpgs suck. Which is wrong.
Since GT5 took as long as it did to get made, I'm thinking the ETA for GT6 will be something liiiike, never?
"A Supernatural Assassin in a Steampunk City"
Dude sounds like a child, not to mention how childish this idea sounds haha.
Yeah I don't really know where the story's gonna go with this one. I mean I haven't played Peace Walker so I don't know if that set anything up.
They should just go ahead and connect the universes of MGS and ZOE haha. Metal Gear Ray = Proto Jehuty / orbital frame.
Although come to think of it, ZOE's story sort of ended too haha.
A welcome addition. Give me Spyro or Tombi or both and I'll buy this. A Final Fantasy character would be nice too.
@mike: Those games obviously look good, and two of them I hope to buy, but it doesn't change the fact that they have to resort to such common denominator stuff i.e. hyperviolence, "cool" technology and gadgets, Zombie-esque post apocalyptic whatever the hell etc. As far as I can see, these games play it pretty safe in terms of what's popularly understood as a videogame.
I'm sure they're not without their merits of course, but what I'm really ref...
You can't really make any claims to the maturity of TLOU until you've experienced it's whole story.
Just because a game is rated R doesn't mean it's going to treat it's themes in an intelligent, mature fashion, and needless to say, games don't getted rated R for being intelligent.
I suppose based on impressions so far it certainly seems more mature than Uncharted, but we'll see. It is the first real totally serious game ND have...
Not jealous, just angry that gamers only care about idiotic games; that they can't appreciate the more thoughtful ones.
I mean it must be annoying to have a great idea for a game that you've poured your heart into only to see it get pushed to one side by like a dozen other meathead games which required next to no imagination or creativity to make.
We don't need anymore of these articles.
Looks even more uncomfortable to hold than the 3ds. I get cramps and pins and needles playing most handhelds. Why can't they be more ergonomic? Shaped like controllers or something...
Could be to do with people's spending power. I mean I haven't pre-ordered a single game this year, yet I pre-ordered like 4 last year. I've currently got more important things to be budgeting for.
If I start pre-ordering games I'll be broke. And if I was to, I couldn't JUST pre-order this, that'd be to the exclusion of too many other games I want. So yeah I just can't afford it really. Seems like there's too much expensive stuff coming out this...
Seems more and more likely alright.
I'd really like a XIII-3 eventually though. I mean I say this a lot on n4g, but if XIII-3's jump in quality is similar to the jump between XIII and XIII-2, it promises to be pretty awesome.
Still, I am intrigued as to what they're gearing up to reveal.
I think the implication might be that the Dragonborn can't reproduce with normal mortals. Either by divine decree, or due to his / her Dragon jizz / ovum, or a combination of both.
Plus, what chance would any future evil force have against multiple Dragonborns?
Still waiting for an actual expansion. All this DLC so far just seems like Knights of the Nine / Wizard's Tower stuff but slightly bigger.
Quest lines and extra stuff like this should have been in the game in the first place and they should save full on expansions like The Shivering Isles for actual DLC.
Very, very, very wishful thinking. Why on earth would they ever include any of those characters?
Sabin is a supporting character in a SNES game, and the rest are supporting characters.
If it's not Lightning, it'll be Cloud.
Well if the Micheal advertisement is anything to go by, it'll be Lightning. I'd be totally cool with that to be honest, even though she's not exactly a Playstation icon per se.
How is the new Dante not even MORE annoying though?
At least the old games knew they were ludicrous and had a sense of humour. This new one, like too many things these days, takes it's completely absurd premise gravely seriously. It's just laughable.
Capcom have lost the plot and Ninja Theory have no idea what they're doing.
Oh quit bitching. I mean yeah it's a little self-indulgent and irresponsible to make gamers wait this long, but I'm pretty confident it'll be worth the wait, especially if that gameplay trailer's anything to go by.
I mean it basically looks like Kingdom Hearts but bigger and better, and more like a Final Fantasy game, which surely can only be a good thing.
