Chain of Memories had a PS2 version, and no it's not bad. It has an absolutely awesome combat system if you can get used to it. Also the story is really good. In narrative form terms I think it's one of the more interesting ones out of all the KH games.
The only thing I wasn't too keen about was the level design. It's kind of like a dungoen crawler and so it can be a bit monotonous, but you decide the contents of each room with these cards you collect, and tha...
I don't know. It just seems to me that if you're into MGS in the first place, you must be a pretty open minded person. I mean they're pretty wacky games.
I'm personally looking forward to Rising, even if it's a little bit violent for my tastes.
I never got to play the ps2 version of chain of memories so this is cool. Though I have to say, the GBA version is almost one of my favourite KH games. It shouldn't be, but it nearly is.
Mistral looks a bit like Yelena Federova from Deus Ex Human Revolution.
I made the mistake of buying the inferior ps2 version of Just Cause 1 because I didn't have a 360. I don't want to make that mistake again with this game if it happens that it comes out on PS3 and PS4.
That said I also don't want to buy a new console just for this game, but I suppose there'll probably be all sorts of other games announced or teased for next gen, next year.
We'll probably see CGI cutscenes of Avatar quality on next gen stuff (maybe better) but I don't think I'll even be alive by the time we have Avatar quality games in real time.
One of the most fun games I've ever played, and this looks like it makes it even more fun.
I really hope they introduce multiplayer into JC3.
Maybe if they didn't use such a dodgy engine they'd be fine. I mean really, there are plenty of equally impressive open world games that manage DLC just fine.
I feel like they could achieve an Elder Scrolls game just as easily on another more tenable engine.
Consumerism gone mad. Why are people either super loyal to big game corporations or super vindictive towards them these days?
There are too many people who'd probably kill for their favourite company. What the hell is that? You're a crazed consumer.
I've never seen a positive comment from you. Ever.
Hmmm, she seems a bit eh, buxom, to be in a game like Smash Bros... but alright.
Love that song. I wonder who'll be composing?
I hope the Wii U does well, Nintendo are awesome, but honestly I'm just gonna wait for the Ps4.
The way I see it, multiplayer games have come to prevalence at the height of capitalism and consumerism, and they're fraught with the impulses implicit in those social, economic phenomena.
Like I said, it's just about being the best and dominating everyone else, creating a competitive environment and atmosphere where you're disdainfully labelled a noob for sucking and are discouraged from playing.
So few mp games are about having a good game, and...
I just hate this multiplayer era of videogames because of how fucking hostile and aggressive it is. Most major multiplayer games aren't about having fun, they're just about dominating everyone else and being the best, and most communities for multiplayer games are completely hostile and intolerant.
Multiplayer games bring people together? Well, maybe on the same server but that's about it.
I'd say anything intense produces a similar effect. If you choose fight instead of flight in any intense situation you're probably going to find yourself in enough of a heightened state to resist all manners of pain.
Whatever happened to all the Activision hate though? I always thought they deserved worst company in America much more than EA.
What do you think I mean by "classic" R&C. I don't mean a PSN tower defense game. Just because it has the "classic camera" doesn't make it a classic R&C game. Just seems like Insomniac are just cashing in on trends with Q Force.
I mean a proper platforming adventure game like previous entries.
Nooooo.
Well I guess that means no more classic R&C games. Nor a Spyro game, sounds like they'd probably refuse if they were given the chance to develop a new one.
I'd say cutscenes from Coded AND 358/2 days.
