There was a leak that I'm pretty sure wasn't legit which showed Tomba on the character select screen, I sure hope that's true.

He gets maimed at the start of the game by those Samurai guys, and then he's repaired and given new, superior armour. That's what the devs said.

Well, she's not like most female characters I guess. At the same time, she's not hyper masculine, so it kind of seems with Lightning, SE were trying to create a different kind of femininity, and trying to reconcile it with the world. That's my take on it anyways.

I'm looking forward to it and I fully expect it to end the series on a high note. I mean it sounds like a really interesting game. I was expecting a bigger version of XIII-2 tbh, but this is intriguing.

I was expecting with the "warp rifle" part that the gun would enable her to switch places with the enemy, pulling the enemy out of cover to be wailed on by the rest of the team, and putting her - invisible - amidst the enemy to silently assassinate them.
I'd expect that level of inventiveness from Insomniac. No such luck.
ALSO: The whole idea of the team splitting up sounds cool actually, especially for co-op.
