What?? That would take even longer, probably 3 times longer.
Nah, it's perfect the way it is, just like VII. To remake it would ultimately be to make a different game, probably a good one, but it just wouldn't be the same.
Hard to screw up a HD remaster, unless they take stuff out and make us buy it as DLC. They MUST know not to do that though, they'd be assassinated by rabid "fans".
I just hope they throw in some extra stuff that wasn't in the original game. An extra dungeon or two, references to stuff from X-2. I suppose that's all pretty unlikely, still gonna replay the hell out of this game.
@Godmars: Blitzball was playable ya nub. You even played this game?
I thought it was a green version of Vanitas from Kingdom Hearts. That's the only reason I clicked on this article.
Agh if only it wasn't such dorky western high-fantasy rpg tripe though. It sounds structurally and formally awesome, and I like and respect that they're making such creative risks, but come on, it's looks so trite. I'd rather a more original world to accompany this.
Go write some music! Write something! Film something! Design something! The imagination has much more breathing room in things like those!
I can't understand the fascination. Minecraft to me is just such a non-game, or a really, really poor version of a potentially MUCH better game.
It just seems like such a game that idle people play, people with nothing better to do. It's like a glorified internet flash game or something.
Nah, it can't die out soon enough (probably won't though.)
One of the first videos I saw of this had like this really tense music and atmosphere, and it really seemed like a horror / psych-horror game. Liiiitle bit disappointed to learn it's not, but whatever...
Versus XIII, Shin Megami Tensei IV, Lightning Returns, Persona 5(?), Ni No Kuni, Bravely Default, Kingdom Hearts 3(?).
THOSE are the rpgs I'm looking forward to. None of these dorky, tacky western high fantasy BS rpgs.
I'm not a 360 owner nor am I a Halo fan, but man, that sucks.
I wonder if this'll hurt the development of Halo 5 and 6?
Ay ay ay, that's a long time away...
People are saying that this is a short wait for an Metal Gear game, how so? MGS4 was the last major MG game and that was released mid 2008. If this game really is gonna drop in November of 2013 that's like 4 and half years we've been waiting. That's roughly the same wait between every major MG game (I know Peace Walker was critically "major" but it's still a spin off).
OR: Microsoft sending special gift to about a dozen people.
It's a corporate bastardization of Spyro. They should've just left Spyro out of it. His inclusion exposes the series as a complete cash cow.
And god, the franchising. Absolute consumer bullsh!t.
I don't care how good the game might be, the fact that it has any pretense at all of being a Spyro game is just offensive.
That's a really dorky sounding name... such a generic, lame sci-fi name. I trust it'll be a good game though, I think.
EDIT: I've always thought "Mass Effect" was a really Valve-esque name for a videogame.
If you actually read the article you'll see it's a massive troll.
In fact, it seems to be saying both eff Ninja Theory and eff Capcom.
Can't. Wait. For this game.
999 is easily one of the best DS games.
I'm assuming they'll carry Home over to the PS4? Otherwise all this investment in it's pretty pointless...
You obviously read to the part you quoted and stopped there. Come on fella. I think you'll find the word suffer has quite a broad and ever-changing definition.
It's a kind of social suffering that seems absurd, but it's very real in the consumer societies we live in. It shouldn't exist, but consumer culture's just gotten out of hand. People suffer because they feel like they can't compete; aren't trendy enough; aren't up to date enough. Everyon...
I kind of feel like all the people censuring hackers are like, upper middle class people or people who were fortunate enough to get a job in this economic climate. Add to that latter point that in an economic situation like this, people aren't exactly at an all time high in terms of confidence. The overall vibe during an economic depression stifles people's ambitions, clouds their horizons.
I'm not saying all hackers are indigent, and I'm allowing that there a...
Dear god... I think Final Fantasy Versus XIII might actually come out before this now. I'm expecting at least a massive blowout of information in 2013 if it doesn't.
