I wish these games were a lot more stealthy. I don't think the controls would lend themselves well to it though.
You should be able to crouch though, it's ridiculous.
The crux of my worries for this game: SE use the time limit mechanic to water down the game. In other words, the game gets put together lazily because of a "who's going to stop and stare when the clock is ticking?" sort of thing.
This could effect a lot of aspects of the game, not just the visuals. I just hope they don't cut loads of corners or something. A clock that's always winding down doesn't really give them licence to do that, and I hope they ...
This could very easily be over-enthusiastic speculation dressed up as knowledge. I've seen people post similar things (albeit abbreviated and knowlingly speculative) on N4G.
I'm gonna wait for something more official.
Excellent game.
And while it's an interesting experiment, just get the translation patch.
Well I suppose techically that's right. VI had multiple protagonists. I can't quite agree with X-2 though, Yuna was unquestionably the protagonist of that game.
The dressphere system was awesome anyway. It was fast, slick, tactical and a joy to behold.
Gamer dudes are all just too uptight and misogynistic.
Also, Lumina looks like Serah mixed with Yeul.
I'd be fine with this being true so long as what they were using instead was more ergonomic like the Dreamcast or Xbox controllers. The Dual Shock is a really uncomfortable controller relative to those.
He'll still act like a cock though.
You know what I mean. Shitty little pointless smartphone "toys" for people with ADD.
I hope Noel has a fairly big role and you don't just kill him or something. He's a really strong character, really likeable.
It'd be pretty sad if he's like the enemy or something.
I don't, and never will care about or use apps.
Man, I hadn't thought of the Valkyrie Profile comparison, it's actually pretty apt.
Add some new types (I know they won't). There's been no new ones since Gold and Silver.
I like the 8-bit noises. They're nostalgic and for me are part of the joy of discovering new Pokemans. I'd rather that than some PERSON gibbering, squealing and howling (etc.) at me everytime I get in a fight. I don't know, maybe it could work, just seems like it could get irritating.
Another thing they won't add: Let me journey back to at least ONE...
Pretty much what I've been saying. Power to this journalist.
So what is this? Sort of like a retro FF mmo? Are all those characters like individual players taking turns or something? Sort of like Curiosity but an rpg?
Meh, doesn't look like it'd be for me.
Jeez just be patient. I mean it's obviously impressive but couldn't they have used their time to do something more productive? The game's out this year, just wait.
She looks a lot like Serah.
Maybe she's Serah's nobody hehehe.
Also the alternate costume on the top left looks niiiiice.
Also, Trivia: Lumina is the name of the giant sword in another SE (well, Squaresoft) title: Brave Fencer Musashi.
Mondo? Is this in any way related to The Silver Case and Flower, Sun and Rain?
Looks interesting though. Cool visual style.
That video is just perfect. Everybody needs to see it.
I felt the same in AC3, especially when they forced you to kill them.
I don't see why people shouldn't feel bad about killing people in games. Obviously none of this is real, but what it represents is awful: Another conscious person with a life, a history, that you're callously gunning down. That to me is wilful ignorance. How can you so easily extinguish something that represents something as complex as a human life? I've honestly reached a point where I have...
