Nope. Complaining that it's "unacceptable" that SE aren't releasing their games over here, as if it's absolutely imperative that they make these games for us- as if we're entitled to them.
"The necessity of violence for the sake of immersion"?? This guy's a dope. The only way he can be properly immersed is if his game is violent? Says a hell of a lot about this industry. Totally brainwashed. #1. You can't just irresponsibly load your game with violence just for the sake of more and more entertainment. Sure it makes you more aware of your surroundings in the game- makes you pay close attention to them, but it's possible to be immersed a game world without s...
Acting a bit entitled there... "Unacceptable"??
They'll get it here when they get it here. Read the second article I posted. I have a feeling that has a lot to do with it's belatedness.
So is this actually being developed by SE? I can't seem to work that out.
I wonder. Seems like another foray into different genre games like Mindjack. I hope it's more successful.
"Challenges players to solve possibly the hardest case of all."
I'm assuming this has something to do with the soul, given the title.
Agh, they NEVER said they weren't going to release it in the west.

Wait a minute, that image should surely show the PS symbol weighing more than the Xbox symbol then...
Final Fantasy VII
Chrono Cross
Tombi 2
Banjo Tooie
Beyond Good and Evil
Half Life 2
Remember me looks like the cheesiest thing ever. Like a naff sci-fi film. I suppose it might play well though.
Connor didn't have a love interest because he wasn't ready to settle down. He was too embroiled in the battle for the nation and for liberty. There's a cut scene that addresses this. The story was good just told in a really rushed and disjointed and jarring fashion.
Plus, he's from a culture of warrior hunters, he's not part of the colonist culture and their particular understandings of romance.
He wasn't bland. He was intelligent, pa...
Square-Enix are definitely just publishing it for Eidos, who will develop it.
People don't seem to realize this. Square-Enix are only involved in games like Tomb Raider, Deus Ex, Hitman and Just Cause at the capacity of publisher. THEY HAVE NO CREATIVE INVOLVEMENT WITH THE GAME.
Yeah, I mean part of me's like "Well now I'm just buying into Ubisoft's sly business tactics" but at the same time, I'm not done with Connor. The hate people have for him is invariably uninformed and unappreciative of his subtlties. I thought he was a well written and voiced character, and brought to life even more by the improved graphics and facial animation. Such a waste if they never return to him in some shape or form.
I mean the ending felt lik...
Er, did nobody see the Nintendo Direct conference? The console's getting games, and very awesome looking ones at that, just be patient.
Jesus, doom articles already. The slightest thing and people are just like: "NO. DOOM. FAILURE. IT'S OVER."
Doom articles need to be HEAVILY policed.
"The way the story unfolds is we have all these elements where you can pick up documents and case files, but also your phone gets possessed and it plays recordings from the past. So there’s so many different elements we’re able to use that allow players to get all this information, but the way that we’re going to do it it’s programmatically, procedurally given to the player"
Sounds like a more elaborate Dear Esther. Definitely won't be as good as it though.
Final Fantasy Type-0, Bravely Default and Sigma Harmonics.
Can't wait for Soul Hackers.
No.
Yeah that's how I interpreted it. If not, then that's some serious arrogance.
Jesus, that's a good looking game alright. Those screens can't be on consoles though... surely...
*deep asleep*
It'll just be the same format for the game but with Dexter instead. Kind of like EA games. I don't know, they should avoid making it stale.
That's ridiculous. The visual quality and design are really alluring, but if that's actually true, I'm not getting this game.
