I keep saying more or less this.
If you don't agree with this guy, you can only be a pubescent teenager, at least in your mind.
I don't know. I'm not sure many companies will want to work with Superbot when they're no longer supported by Sony. Superbot don't really command much authority now...
Basically I think this makes it even less likely that we'll see characters from big corporations like Square Enix and Activision.
317 euros?? That's not bad at all! Although they'll probably ramp it up to like 350 or something. Affordable!
I agree with some of what you say Irishguy, but not all of it.
Games DO have to wise up, but Cage isn't the one to do it. He thinks his games are intelligent when they're really just as juvenile as most of the other games he's implicitly complaining about.
It's not "just the media's fault". Games ARE immature. They treat violence and sex on a surface level. Reveling deeply in wilful ignorance about both, and that's not good f...
That's rich coming from Cage. Fahrenheit is like the most immature thing ever. Lead guy's an introverted, moody guy with a dull office job (i.e the writer of the game) until WHAM gets thrown into an occult conspiracy and becomes Neo from the matrix with super powers (i.e. ego-trip / delusions of grandeur on the part of the writer) Yeah, real grown up.
As for Heavy Rain, the game's just Saw. It tries to be intellectual and profound with it's thinly explored the...
Wow, the playstation one sounds pretty intense. Lot of talent involved.
She's made a pretty weak attempt to cover it up.
If I was told it was getting a superior version on the Ps4 et al, I definitely wouldn't buy the Ps3 version. I'd wait till I had enough money for a Ps4 and a copy, otherwise I'd feel cheated. This guy has it all wrong.
I think if they want the game to do well, they should stick to the Ps3 et al for the release. The only issue there is the performance. I'm convinced this game will be a mess on the Ps3 et al. The Ps4 wouldn't initially have a big enough ins...
When you say "concept art" you don't mean painted / sketched etc. images do you? Because these are obviously screenshots.
Do you mean like prepared screenshots or bullshots?
To be honest this is the level of graphical quality I was expecting from next-gen. I mean it's not like it's THAT much of a leap from current gen.
The only thing good about that would be the BluRay, and even those might be too small for some next-gen games.
If this really is going to be revealed tomorrow, then surely the Ps4 / Xbox 720 will be incidentally revealed along with it...?
Also I presume then that those are next-gen graphics? Even less of a difference between them and current-gen then I thought there'd be. I presume the performance is a lot better though. Graphics are fine the way they are now anyway.
I know Superbot's hearts were in it, but the game just ended up being a giant billboard, completely overwhelmed by the interests of big game companies. Raiden and Dante gave that away, and I think it deeply affected the game- the whole thing just seemed sort of shallow and lacking heart. Big Daddy shouldn't have been in the game (he represents a videogame generation more than the Playstation alone.), Fat Princess was just scraping the bottom of the barrel.
A few thing...
Oh man that sucks. All because Sony had to ruthlessly split from Superbot.
Hopefully they make the game this could have been on the Ps4. But sadly I actually sort of doubt that'll happen. Such a waste.
I was so close to buying this and was super hyped for it until I realized that there's not that much in it, all the unlockables were sort of lame. Not to mention LOADS of characters that should have been in it weren't.
Should have been unlockable stages, unlockable characters, MORE characters, and loads of unlockable items / weapons.
I also kind of wish it played like power stone and not SSB, but that's super wishful. Or perhaps even if it had jus...
Cover system and crouching. Definitely. The cover system in III was alright, but it's needs so much more.
To be honest, while the AC control scheme is pretty novel, it often feels pretty awkward. It could definitely use some improvements.
Not a terrible game, but so much of the game happens in short, easy bursts. The gameplay doesn't really have a lot of depth. It's impressive to look at, but not difficult to execute.
I thought Connor was a good character though, I don't understand the hate. Most of the evaluations of him I see are just ill-informed. He's voiced really well too.
I think the first game was a more cohesive experience than the third. Although I suppose it had less meat on it's bones.
This article's a joke right? He's like pretending the Vita never came out to make points about how a PSP successor aught to be... I think.
I'm barely bothered to read this. I suppose it makes all the points we're familiar with.
God that's just so ruthless. Capitalism has engulfed the games industry.
Hmmm, I don't think it's time for an ACIV yet. I think Connor and Brazilian Independance was a good idea. They should do that. I'd be cool with 2 more Connor games so long as they're good.
