This game looks beautiful and I'm desperate to play it.
I have to admit though, one of the things I really want to know is what the title means in terms of the game. Such a strange title.
Hmmmm Soma Bringer is a great game but it doesn't approximate a Final Fantasy game. As for Xenoblade, I haven't played it, but I'm sure it's fantastic.
Either way, I'm not sure they have enough of an ouevre yet to be considered as superior to Square Enix.
Plus, SE still make great games, just more on the portable side of things. Type-0 is supposed to be absolutely incredible, it sure looks it, and of course Versus is on the way, and Lightn...
Dahaha this guy's clueless on the games front. The real games you buy a Vita for are Virtue's Last Reward, Gravity Rush and Persona 4 Golden.
Also, you should buy one with a mind towards the eventual release of Final Fantasy Type-0 (I reckon it'll be a downloadable PSP game.), the unannounced Shin Megami Tensei game, the unannounced RPG from Level-5, Time Travelers, and maybe Soul Sacrifice.
Uncharted and AC: Liberation are those games that are to...
Megaplaynate: I regard those three films much like I do DmC culturally. I've already said this in the comment?? I think wanting more out of the gameplay is a sort of entitled attitude. They should have respected the spirit of the original games yes, but that's not the same as respecting the demands of gamers. Gamers should make suggestions, but not demands. It'd the developers' project.
Whitefox: Ya see, you're too caught up in this idea that it's all ...
There's a difference between honestly being a perfectionist and in retrospect being unsatisfied with your work- and withholding doubts about the game until everyone's bought it.
Who's to say that 343 didn't know the game was flawed long before they released it? Who's to say they didn't just hype the game (and they did) to make people buy it, when they knew it had problems? If it was the case that the game was flawed early on, they should have said some...
Game developers making games for the masses, and catering towards fans is something that shouldn't happen.
Games should be unique visions untrammelled by fan demands. Sure we pay for these games, but by our own volition (we don't have to buy them). And it's not like we have anything to do with the creative process. Any game that bends to fan's wills is crap, because fans don't understand the development process- aren't engaged in the creative process. ...
A few months after Halo 5:
343 Industries "made a lot of mistakes" with Halo 5, "we can do better"
If devs think or know there's something wrong with their game before they release it, they should just make it better. Eff the greedy, impatient masses.
If they know there's something wrong with it and they release it anyway, that's dishonest and dickheaded.
If they're forced to release it (...
Until I have some sort of income I'm not signing up for +
Subscriptions'll sap my money dry before I even know it.
eXistenZ.
Has this been confirmed to be Xenoblade 2?
Crysis 2 (sort of), Heavy Rain, Kengo: Master of Bushido (it was second hand for like a fiver though so I can't really complain.), Fallout 3, Heavenly Sword (sort of), the regular version of Oblivion, before I was forced to buy the GOTY version which came out soon after. I sort of regret buying Persona 4 last year now that Golden came out.
No regrets on the console front though, except maybe the Gameboy Advance, but that was a long time ago and I was too young to care. Th...
INFINITE SUBJECTIVE REGRESSION.
*Puts gun in mouth*
It's obviously a Xeno game, given Monolith's involvement, the giant mechs, and of course the X at the end.
That X though... really reminds of Xenogears' logo.
Anyhow this looks incredible.
One gripe: I know Xenoblade and this aren't connected directly to Xenosaga, as the latter isn't directly connected to Xenogears, but they all have the same sort of spirit (and mechs!) It's always annoyed me a bit that a franchise whi...
Oh. My. God.
Seriously. Mistwalker and Monolith Soft are the reasons to own a Wii or Wii U.
I'm not sure the Japanese are the best at portraying black dudes, and so Barrett and Sazh are pretty exploitative and occasionally steroetypical as characters, Sazh a lot less so though.
All the same, they're pretty great.
Oh and what about this guy: http://finalfantasy.wikia.c...
The title reads like she's addicted to a Playstation 3, not actually playing video-games on it.
For me it's not that I think I deserve or am entitled to a proper DmC game with a non-shit Dante. Nah, my contention is with the fact that Ninja Theory and Capcom are contributing to this culture of taking ironic, camp stuff that's not meant to be taken absolutely seriously, and MAKING it serious, gravely serious.
Also contributing to the whole culture of Twilight heartthrob protagonists. Shit is poisonous.
I actually think it's an impressive game...
Assassin's Creed 3, Django Unchained, and God of War aren't exactly models for history, and basing your moral outlook on them is pretty baffling.
I hate your fatalistic attitude. It's the same shit I always hear "Oh violence has always been around there's nothing we can do about it". Violence is as much a reality as we make it. Maybe they did horrendous shit in the past, but #1. It was nothing like our movies / games describe and #2. We can learn fro...
Exactly. I think the reason is that most gamers are secretly misanthropic hypocrites.
Hahahaha I effing KNEW what video you'd posted immediately.
YOLO and Gabe Newell at e3 are better though.
