How exactly does this enable piracy? Disabling the region lock isn't the same as being able to run dumped roms of games on flshcarts.
Piracy is fine so long as the console's lifespan has ended and no more games are being made for it.
Also, this exploit won't actually be released for a fairly long time.
Something's been brewing for like two weeks now. Old news.
Still, we probably won't be playing games on flashcarts for a while yet. They've hit a major milestone, but piracy won't hit the 3ds for a while yet.
Still, I can't help feel it's a little bit early in it's lifespan. If developers can't make money off the games they make, they're probably not gonna develop them, and that's no good.
I think these...
Tron worked fine, I think Star Wars could too. Pulp Fiction ahahaha I don't think so. Marcellus' briefcase could have his heart in it or something though haha.
I don't think that's the point though.
This is: "Retention doesn’t want you to enjoy the game – it wants you to be addicted to it. It wants you to play it compulsively."
The point is that if they're not going to charge for the main meat of the game, they compensate by diluting the experience of it. Making it a Mule to a carrot on a string situation. There are aspects of the game that could easily be so much better but they're delibe...
This is important. Everyone should read this.
Don't forget a bunch of men in their 20s - 30s made the game too. Just creeps me out a bit.
Having played every outing so far (Chain of Memories and Coded included), the plot kind of feels like the expounding of a giant metaphysical system- the characters just figures within it. I mean, lets face it, Sora isn't much of a character. He has no arc. He's just meant to represent near absolute goodness / light.
I think they should start including Final Fantasy worlds. Before long they'll be scraping the bottom of the barrel for Disney Worlds. (If I have to visit Olympus Coliseum ever again I'll cry)
That or they just improve the level design. Dream Drop Distance was a definite step in the right direction. Make the levels bigger, more like levels in an adventure platformer.
Thing is, plot wise, I don't really see how they'll need to visit loads of wor...
The child sexuality in Gravity Rush is a little bit disturbing... I want to play it but that really puts me off it. That thumb alone... jesus, I mean she's a little girl / young teenager. Idk guys...
That was good!
Hyperreality and Object fetishism you say? More of that please!
In fact, more intelligence in video games and video games journalism please!
Way to provoke them! I don't want PSN going down again...
I'm telling ya, there's some serious potential for some really clever storytelling if they managed to connect XIII and Versus.
I doubt they will though, and as for the new world at the end of this game, I get the impression it's not just another mortal universe or planet or something, but some sort of heavenly, transcendent thing.
You're decontextualizing the trial and error point at the end. That only refers to managing exploration against the time limit, not the battle system.
If they pull it off, it could be good. It could be intense and urgent and could encourage replaying. If they don't, it could be very frustrating...
Well it does say they're not aware of 500 years passing, so probably not.
The chaos halts their biological clock, but going by this, presumably their subjective sense of time too or something. Kind of heavy stuff, but it seems like they might even be avoiding having to do what you suggest.
Side quests usually offer pretty awesome rewards, not just expansion of the universe.
But yeah, nothing wrong with side quests that don't reward you in terms of gameplay either.
Don't forget Chrono Cross and Soma Bringer, the latter is criminally overlooked. One of his best for sure.
Kirite is pretty great too.
If Mitsuda's in then so am I.
Not really what ambivalence means. Ambivalence describes being torn between things, not being indifferent either way.
The "Hydra" featured in the Warriors Orochi cover IS Orochi, C'mon fella, get yer japanese mythology down.
This guy's captions are lame and not apt.
Definitely going to play this.
