Damn, the site went down in a friendly ddos attack ;).
That's because Crysis was actually developed for current gen cards, not last gen cards.
The predator didn't have superior firepower? An auto-aiming explosive plasma cannon sounds pretty superior to me.
The pred was overpowered in AVP1, but that was fun, because a group of 3-4 marines had to work together to survive against 1 pred. Like in the movies.
Why not? The races don't have to be balanced. IMO, it's even more fun, if the pred is overpowered. All you have to do is limit the number of preds per map...a simple server setting.
Preds were too weak in AVP2.
Yes, you can omit the Adriana Lima model.
I think the difference is very subtle in some cases, but still obvious enough to see that they labeled it wrong in picture 5 of 14. DX11 is left, as the model on the right is much more edgy.
Also, the difference global illumination makes in outdoor daylight scenes is pretty drastic, I think.
You are not mistaken. There was also a fairly modern inofficial game based on Blood Bowl called Chaos League, and it was even developed by the same guys (Cyanide). I guess Games Workshop saw the potential of this and hired the guys...
Probably, but what are they trying to achieve? Maybe they can convince 2% of intrested PC owners to buy it on console, because they can't wait, but this move will certainly lose them more than 2% of the interested PC owners completely...
Customized avatars sounds like the most probable suggestion I've heard so far.
Depends on the consistency of the turd. Hard turds can be polished.
But I guess you are talking about games here...
Amazon's elastic compute cloud is perfect for such rapidly scaling situations.
You have no idea. In most games, the best community maps are MUCH better than the stock maps.
No.

Killcam? Noob.
It's called masochist, not sadist.
Pirating always harms someone.
"real-time" is missing in the title.
It makes sense for the new MMO to be as different from WoW as possible, to avoid internal competition. Giant dinosaur robots with cannons sounds pretty fresh to me.
It's not junk, just overrated. It could have been so much better if Bungie hadn't been bought by Microsoft.
The flood was cool though.
I'm not sure whether it uses much processing power, because as I understand it, they have a special tesselation unit on the GPUs, which is unused when no tesselation is required, so you don't really win something by disabling it in settings.
