The 32bit PC value is misleading, though, because a lot of people with 64bit HW still use XP 32bit (like me).
No, it doesn't take away the disadvantage. A 24" Monitor in full HD positioned 50" away from your face represents a bigger resolution AND more coverage of the view area than a 40" TV 8 feet away from you.
You're probably also one of the guys that takes a back seat in the cinema, right?
Which is also wrong, because there is only one that needs these two expensive cards you mention.
5 grand for a gaming rig? Wow, this will be a monster. Intel Core i7 975, 4x4GB of the fastest clocked RAM sticks you can find, 2x ATI HD 5970 in Crossfire mode (can you even do that? 4 GPUs?) some top class Eizo 24" Monitor and everything else of the finest...
I'm a bit jealous.
We are the children of Kain and Lilith, you ignorant. I wouldn't drink your blood even if it was the last drop in a desert.
Yeah, of the kicks-its-own-ass sort.
He has listed them based on influence they had on release.
Should have switched Half-Life 2 with it's predecessor. HL2 was great, but nothing new (besides the gravity gun). HL1 on the other hand was a revolution when it was released.
And Halo...yeah, sure. You have to put it somewhere on a top list, otherwise console fanboys will get angry. The only novel thing about Halo was the flood, everything else has been done better before.
Yeah, Adriana Lima is hot, but I don't want to have her replace Alyx.
Well, they are still busy counting dollars, so maybe once they are done, they might start to develop them.
Some smaller games also offer fun MP, though. A good example is Call of Juarez, which is good fun on a LAN-party.
Well, Blizzard games are not known for their stunning visuals.
That's bullshit. WinXP runs fine with 512MB RAM. Granted, it's not enough for Crysis, but still, older Games would run fine (that includes PacMan).
Why don't you play Guild Wars, then?
@bozebo: There are two points you should consider...

It also means that an inversion of the trend takes a lot of time, or big changes in the respecting culture. Consider the situation: few young, fertile people have to produce a lot of children AND work to pay taxes that support the huge population of old peo...

Actually, they do have a problem with sexuality in Japan, it's not just a good subject for a joke. Lowest birth rate on the planet.
Hmm, ok, I give you that, but the devotion is still respectable.
@dchalfont: it also says something about you, when your brother spends all his time with a game.
I don't see how this could replace mouse and keyboard in a shooter. Looks extremely inaccurate and clunky.
