Good. That shit needs to stop. It’s ridiculous.

It’s a fanatic game and I’m loving it. Feels great. Looks great. Engaging and entertaining and yes very balanced.

Seriously. I agree 100%. People care more about what side has what instead of just caring about games. It’s become nothing more than a pissing contest that has lost sight of the actual gaming.

Yes. Jim Ryan said “Sony believes in generations”, but we haven’t really actually seen much of that at all. If anything, it feels like Sony (and Ms) is/are really leaning on last generation. There are only a couple games that truly feel next gen imo (and series x as well for that matter) and it’s kind of a bummer. I mostly blame last generation for this. The new generations can’t have much of their new hardware and APIs being utilized to maximize the power because last gen just don’t or can’...

just finished it myself a few days ago. i thought it was really good and even refreshing. some missions i liked more than others (i don't hate but don't particularly love the stealth parts) but even with that i really appreciated how much the gameplay switched up and how much variety there was. it wasn't just shooting at enemies the whole time. graphically it looks great too (played on series x) and the voice acting is high quality. The story does enough to move the game along - i...

yeah its definitely a really cool style and it works well too. hats off to the team. its a wonderful, well crafted game that sets the quality bar really high.

In this case it’s true. The ps4 and xb1 don’t have or support a lot of the new hardware tricks and APIs that the series x and ps5 have that are meant to add more performance, efficiency and processes. So if you want these games to run on ps4/xb1, you can’t really use any of that new stuff in the game engine unless you want to basically completely rebuild the entire game for each generation separately.. All you can really do is use the extra power to brute force things like framerates and reso...

Been playing on the ps5 and this video said something as a positive that as a ps5 owner I actually take as a negative. That is that the ps5 upgrades are “subtle”. And that’s my issue.

I love the game and I think the game is gorgeous and performs really well but the fact that it doesn’t really look much better than the ps4 version is slightly disappointing. I went through a lot of trouble to get my ps5 and paid to have upgraded experiences. While the frame rates and resolut...

Meh. I know people like split screen but I’m fine without it. In fact, I dislike split screen so much I just bought 2 series x’s and have them in separate rooms if I wanna play co-op (also makes it easier to play if the wife wants to watch tv in the living room too)

my biggest concern about this game honestly. sonic games were always about not only the speed, but the flow too. it was fun to see how efficiently you could fly thru levels. I feel that was truly the soul of a Sonic game and this switch a more open world format with huge distances between setups feels more like a grind than a race track.

i get the point being made, but i also think people put too much weight into exclusives and even how exclusive something should be. The whole point of an exclusive is to offer you content that no other system gives you so you want to buy into that system. makes sense. but.... you don't only buy a system for exlcusives. there are plenty of other things to buy into a system for. People seem to forget that the majority of games played on any console are not exclusives. While exclusives play ...

Uhh so is game pass. If streaming is your thing then xcloud is arguably better and more accessible across more platforms… it’s also cheaper

Meh. I won’t buy it on ps5 or series x and I own both.

be careful what you wish for. It sounds lovely, but MTs generate millions of dollars in revenue and studios don't want to just give that up. especially considering when the cost of video game production/development has skyrocketed exponentially over the decades. If MTs are eventually phased out, you can almost assuredly expect the cost of games to up. We're already getting a glimpse of this from Sony and EA charing $70 for base generation 9 games. Remove those alternate revenue genera...

much like the 6/10 god of war review, this review seems drastic based on the average of game scores coming in so far. most hover around a 7 for this game, so a 2 seems personal and lacking subjectivity. everyone is entitled to their opinion but reviewers need to keep it objective. It made no sense in the context that god of war deserved a 6 when literally every other review at the time was a 9 or a 10. same with this score of 2. maybe its not for you and you're free to score it lower, but...

ok it was fun and nostalgic at first but now atari is proving to be a now 1 trick pony that has repeatedly simply tried to cash in on nostalgia while not really bringing anything new to the table. Its like a one hit wonder band that rides that one song for as long as the world will let them. When they came out with a new console, it was designed to remind you of the old console. the games that it plays? old classics.... come on atari. you used to be at the forefront, now you're pandering ...

which is fine... just be prepared to see the cost of games increase. Sony and EA have already demonstrated that they're ok charing $70 for a base game, and that revenue has to come from somewhere. MTs generate quite a lot of money ironically considering how much people claim to hate them.

if you count for inflation over the decades, the cost of a new game has actually gone down while the cost of development has gone up. The price of Outrun on the Sega Master System for ...
