No it doesn’t. It wasn’t overlooked. That’s impossible for a ps5 exclusive and media hype. The problem was it wasn’t good.
this game is going from worst to first in a hurry. love it
"gamers deep in the ps5 ecosystem" LMAO. sounds like a fancy, polite way of saying "fan...s"
why? there's no storage and no hardware, save for a wifi receiver.
so its literally a single purpose, wifi only android phone.
GOTY in my opinion. This game is so refreshing and innovative… not to mention it’s gorgeous too. I wish more studios would take this approach. Tired of superhero games and fps clones.
It does. And I love TLOU but… this is a pattern now.
that’s a good T shirt slogan but capitalism is what we all signed up for…. Good or bad. We the consumer give them their power (money) but then complain when they take it.
Uhh but they lost their Apple suit for the same thing.
But all those great reviews….
no its not. all it says is that people are sick of the same shit over and over. I mean.... how many assassins creeds can you release every year before ppl tune out. you actually want to leave people wanting to create desire. cramming release after release down everyones throat gets old.
pretty sure that's why games like Alan Wake II are so well received. refreshing, innovative, different... there was only one other game and it was released years and years ago
agreed. the challenge in flight simulator is actually flying the planes. its not like ace combat... the physics and controls and systems are super realistic and its actually hard to fly a plane with all the assists off
Alan wake II might have made remedy my favorite studio now. it's so refreshing to play something that isn't trying to cash in on superheroes or feels like every other game out there.
uhh... some of us like planes and aviation. this is still my most played game. its completely realistic. you even program the flight computers, autopilot, radios, everything... its not a combat game. the challenge is flying realistic planes with as little assists and input as possible. its actually hard. its a flight simulator. and that's fine for those of us who love aircraft... or are pilots. and there are missions and challenges in the game. the game has been around for 40 years. so cl...
@venom: it’s more about why are they doing this. They re-released the first one at least 3x and tlou 2 isn’t even that old. They could have worked on something different all this time. This feels more like a cash grab. And no, I probably won’t pick it up if it sells for $70, but the bigger issue is not that we don’t like TLOU, it’s just a wasted opportunity from a studio we all love and are eager for something different.
Man. How many times can an IP be re-released?
**anywhere in your house.
The bias is real. It’s a Wi-Fi only tablet with no Bluetooth and can’t run anything local or cloud based at all… if this was for Xbox it would be ridiculed left and right.
Engadget had it right. This is great device specifically for Sony diehards only. And this is coming from someone who loves buying new toys.
Finally someone said it
sorry that's a pretty basic way of thinking. they pushed shark cards, and people bought them so they kept selling them. that's on us the consumer for spending so much money. nobody says "hey this is making money, lets stop selling it".
also nobody deserves to get fucked over when they've done nothing wrong. It spoils the whole vibe for not just all the people (yes people just like you and me) who worked on the game and the people like me who had a who...
