But I’m not into Baldurs gate and I actually like starfield… I’m far more into scifi than fantasy.
To each their own.
that dope, but just remember that will be a digital copy, on your new machine with an optical drive.... and you'll still need that Internet connection ;) (which I personally have no problem with but.... politics)
ppl will hate this reply but its true... sorry.
as we start getting more true "next gen" titles - that is., titles that aren't compatible with ps4/xbo, the Series X should start showing its performance advantages. Its true that the ps5 is "easier" to to port and build in and as such and so it has shown on occasion that it runs better than the X, but that's also relying on last gen tools and APIs and brute forcing next gen features like raytracin...
and yet Remedy pulled off one of th best looking games of the generation so far with great performance on ps5, series x AND series s....
This article basically says what I’ve been saying since the day it was announced. DOA
Nice. I've been kinda waiting for a time to jump back in. sounds like they are finally getting their sh*t together. the core gameplay is solid imo. just needs more.
that sounded kinda racist adjacent.
Been some solid releases lately but it kinda feels like Remedy just stood up and said “hold my beer”.
This could very well be the highest scoring game of the year.
Go home Metro, you’re drunk Again.
DLC comes for a lot of games all the time..... obviously SF was a commercial success. they have a base to build from for a sequel now. that shortens the dev time down from 7-8 years to 2. ask me how I know :)
The good news is now they have a base to build on and expand for future content and sequels. It only goes up from here.
These days, new release games like this are almost a platform of their own. I mean look how much No Mans Sky has been expanded since launch. Games like GTA and even gt7 or the new Forza MS game get or will get continual content, events (if multiplayer), missions, cars, tracks etc well beyond their launch date.
two things PS users feel passionate about, at odds LOLOL: Physical media v required internet connection. There's a lot of irony in this scenario.
I disagree here. I’m not defending the launch state of redfall. It’s terrible. But. The underlying concept is good. They just need to actually finish the game. It’s not even a matter of polish. It’s simply not done at all.
But if cyberpunk can do it, redfall can do it. Arkane is a great studio who was pressured to fill a content release hole and it just wasn’t ready. Let’s not bake everything down to 1 or 10. Life is far too nuanced for that and that breeds obvious polariz...
It wasn’t a big update…. It added performance mode and some bugs. I don’t think that was the biggest problem. That was just annoying. It was the fact that it was pretty much unfinished. That’s gonna take more than one update. Just look at cyberpunk. Pretty much the same thing. It can get there… if they want it to. But it will take time. Probably at least a year.
Cool but where are all those big Sony experiences? 85% of my psvr 2 experience so far I could get on a Meta Quest.
That’s a good point actually. The black does look much better.
I actually like the Series X design. Its virtually invisible in my media center (yes I am super OCD about my house and its very mid century/ minimal designed). I think the subtle green accents in the fan vent are cool without being over the top. I don't like the big black disk shape on the Series S tho. it feels weird to me. My PS5 still reminds me of a giant router. I don't love the design its a bit over the top imo- especially with the lights. I kinda wished it was more similar to t...
Positive Xbox articles always come with backhanded compliments it seems...
Personally the biggest reason I root for Xbox as a PS5 owner is because they have made huge strides, are innovating the industry model and trying to move forward - and everybody just constantly shits on them for trying .
but... "there's no bias" ** eyeroll**
Why do most articles relaying positive Xbox news still sound like backhanded compliments. "Despite Gamepass..."
how about just say Starfield was the best-selling game in the US in Sept. and leave it at that.
I understand there's some working theory amongst the fanboys out there that Gamepass will hamper game dev quality and devour game sales. The reality is maybe that happens with some games, but not all, and a lot of devs (contrary to Jim R...
They didn’t block 3rd party accessories… they blocked uncertified 3rd party accessories… this is the spin I’m talking about. Sony, Apple, Google all do this. Even when I use my my Sony a7RV camera with a 3rd party battery it says “Sony cannot guarantee the safe operation of this battery”. Same with my iPhone and gas station charging cables. Eyeroll.
