Finally becoming a Next-gen console? PS4 is the console that has a ton of PS3 remasters, Indies, and PS Vita ports since launch. If anything, the Xbox has been a next gen system and we are still waiting for PS4 to become one. Seems like most of PS4's games can be played on PS3.
The fact that PS4 is selling better than Xbox despite Xbox One getting the better games and better deals, let's you know the PS4 is ALL HYPE.
I thought Final Fantasy XIII was a really good game. Like I said, in my previous comment, the Game reviewers seemed to love it. I think Fanboys just never really gave it a chance. Actually the Game Critics praised Final Fantasy XIII. It has an 82 on MetaCritic. IGN gave it an 8.9 out of 10. FFXIII was a good game that sold really well. Fanboys were just expecting a playable version of Final Fantasy VII:Advent Children and when they didn't get that, they threw a B.F.
No sh-t sherlock. We aren't talking about Scotland or the UK. We are talking about JAPAN. GTA V was one of the games that got localized for Japan, but not every Xbox One game in Japan has Japanese voice work, in the same way that not every Japanese game that comes to America has English Dubs/Voice Work. So naturally they are gonna go with the PS4 because more games are in THEIR LANGUAGE on that system. It's really not that hard of a concept.
Probably has to do with the fact that not many Japanese people know English and Xbox has a lot of American made games in the same way that Sony PS4 has a lot of Japanese made games. Sure some games get localized, but a lot of the X1 games there are probably in English with perhaps Japanese subtitles, whereas on Sony consoles there is probably almost always Japanese voice work.
It's probably gonna be a stupid short prequel like MGS:Ground Zeroes was to MGS: The Phantom Pain. Perhaps they will bundle that with Dream Drop Distance to get fans ready for KHIII. I don't know why they wouldn't include Xbox One though, esp. if you are releasing III on it.
Seems Square Enix was in a rush to announce Rise of Tomb Raider was coming to PS4 so when are they gonna announce that Final Fantasy VII Remake is coming to Xbox One?
Sucks. No good vita games on sale that I don't already own.
The thing is none of those games are blockbuster titles like Halo 5:Guardians or Forza 6. Sure they might be exclusive but most of those titles are very niche esp. in America.
Of course multiplats are gonna sell more on PS4, because that's all the PS4 really has. On Xbox One, MGS V is gonna have to compete with Xbox One exclusives and various other multiplats within the next few months for Xbox gamers attention.
The PS4 has really done nothing to deserve the lead it has over the Xbox One. In fact the argument could be made that Xbox is the console that deserves to be in the lead, what with it having Backwards Compatibility and a bunch of great exclusives coming out in the next year or so.
I do believe some games are way too big and way too long. To be honest, I am kinda sick of the whole open-world trend that has been going on in gaming lately. I think the term is Open-World Fatigue. Not every game needs to be open-world. All it really amounts to is travel to point A to start mission, then travel to point B to do the mission, then travel back to point A to complete the mission. The market has become oversaturated with these games. These huge games can be overwhelming to people...
Who cares if PS4 keeps selling the most? As long as Xbox continues getting the best games, that's really all I care about. Xbox is still the king of multiplayer console gaming. I look forward to 343's next Halo game as Halo 4 was a really good game. I think Xbox can definitely close the gap in the US and UK, but if not oh well.
Do people still use Wired Controllers? I feel like after Nintendo's Wavebird controller for Gamecube, wired controllers died. If these were wireless, I would definitely think about picking up one.
Ok nobody expected nudity in a game like this. The first one didn't have any anyway. Nudity/Sex is a nice surprise in a game but it seldom if ever enhances the gaming experience.
Of course Call of Duty isn't revolutionary. They come out with a new Call of Duty literally every year. Yes, I know they alternate between Infinity Ward and Treyarch, but it still doesn't stop the games from being repetitive. If you are looking for revolutionary gameplay you are best looking at either new IPs or franchises that don't see annual releases.
Crackdown 3 will be revolutionary with it's use of the cloud.
