Christmas is right around the corner. I bet ROTR will sell more then. That being said, I wouldn't be surprised if it didn't sell at all. Square Enix sold out the Xbox Audience by announcing the PS4 release date before the Xbox version was even released, which was just a flat out bad business decision because more people are gonna buy your product if they think it's exclusive.
A lot of people didn't even have an next gen system the first half of 2015. Not everybody buys consoles at launch. alb1899 is right. You enjoyed AAA exclusive (singular) because all PS4 has had is Bloodborne, which frankly is the type of game that doesn't appeal to everyone. And the difference between multiplats on the PS4 and X1 is practically negligible. At least Xbox showed up for half the year, Sony only showed up for 1 maybe 2 months.
It showed up for me.
The thing is what are you gonna play with your friends on PS4? Halo? No. Gears of War? No. How about Titanfall? No. Outside of multi-platform games Multiplayer gaming sucks on PS4.
You should definitely go with Xbox One. It has the best AAA exclusives. It is the best system for multiplayer gaming. It has backwards compatibility. It has the Kinect, if that's your cup of tea. It has party chat of up to 12 people. It has a faster UI than the competition. It also has the best deals on console bundles.
I never bought into the Fallout 4 hype. I played Fallout 3 back in the day and it was an okay game. I am just not a fan of open world shooter games like Fallout and Far Cry. I feel Fallout has really bland environments and too many side quests. The thing is, I typically like Bethesda games. But more and more I am starting to realize that funnest games are the ones that aren't super hyped up.
OMG Me too. No but in all seriousness, I know a lot of people who got bored with Far Cry 4 including myself. Sometimes these big open-world games can be overwhelming, which in turn can make them boring because there is just so much to do, that it is hard to measure progress in the game.
Why do Fallout fanboys think that everybody is in love with Fallout? Believe it or not, some people actually prefer Tomb Raider over Fallout 4. Not everybody is a fan of huge open-world games. To be honest, I am more likely to get COD:Black Ops III than I am Fallout.
Can't wait to play South Park Stick of Truth. That being said, this list kinda sucks. I hope we get more actual 360 games in the future because that list seems to be made up of mostly arcade games.
If PS4 is so powerful then why can't it play PS3 games?
Yes. They are getting too big and too long. Not every game needs to be open-world. Half the time all that consists of is wasting 10 mins traveling from point A to point B to start a mission and then to point C to finish it. Boring. Some games do open-world perfectly like GTA, Arkham Knight, Witcher 3 etc. While others like Far Cry get boring after a while. Most of the time these games are filled with meaningless side quests and collectibles to make it seem like the game has a lot of value. I ...
Can't wait for this game. It looks awesome. I just hope it has a good story to go along with those great graphics.
Who cares? What Sony exclusive beside Gran Turismo can even do close to Halo numbers? Plus, I imagine a lot of copies will be sold during the Christmas season.
That's crazy, I was thinking the same thing. N4G is for Sony fanboys to have a circle jerk about the PS4. Say anything bad about the PS4 and you will be downvoted into oblivion and have your bubbles taken away. They will say you are trolling if you have a differing opinion. Look how many Pro-PS4 pieces get approved and how many anti-Xbox articles do.
Bull. Everybody knows the best shooters are on Xbox One. Xbox One is way better than PS4 when it comes to multiplayer gaming.
What reason did you have to buy the PS4?
Quantity does not necessarily equal Quality.
This is probably because all PS4 has is multiplats, whereas Xbox One gamers have actual exclusives to play.
Yeah right. I play on Xbox Live all the time, and I rarely if ever play against women online. And most of the women I talk to in real life, don't play video games.
You should get Xbox One. Xbox typically has better deals/bundles than PS4. Xbox One also has better multiplayer games than PS4. You can always get a PS4 later, once their big games start coming but as of right now if you skip out on the PS4 the only real exclusives you will be missing out on in the next year would be Uncharted 4 and Horizon.
