Why are we still getting resolution articles? Most people cannot tell the difference between 900p and 1080p. It's clear EA games are gonna have slightly lower Res on Xbox One. Who cares? At this point PS4 games and X1 games look nearly identical. And if res is so important then why aren't you playing on PC? Now can we stop talking about trivial things and focus on whether or not the game is actually any good.
It's probably because a lot of people didn't want to buy those games and they much rather stream them free on Twitch. Whereas, people are actually playing Halo 5 and not watching it online.
Never got a chance to play this game(was probably too busy playing Left 4 Dead), so I might check it out if this is true.
Yeah I am kinda sick of the long install times for games. Microsoft needs to fix that ASAP. When I pop a game in my system I want to play it right away or at least within 5 to 10 mins, not 15, 20, or 30 mins later.
I might get a Kinect in the future. But right now it is still too expensive for me and I don't seem to have an immediate need for one.
Stupid decision if you ask me, seeing as all the best multiplayer games are on Xbox One. There really is no reason to own 2 PS4s.
I don't know why people buy consoles at launch anyway. There are hardly any games for them then. The launch games are often rushed and full of bugs. They are still releasing games for past gen systems. There are no limited edition consoles and launch consoles often have issues. You don't know which console is going to get the best games/exclusives. They are typically really expensive and there are no good deals or bundles yet. I took the wait and see approach when deciding which conso...
It's probably because games are too large and too long now-a-days. And not every game needs to be open-world. I sometimes think the devs forget that some people actually have lives outside of gaming. Some of us have a family/kids, are in college, have full-time jobs, or have other hobbies that take up our time. I still complete games though, esp. since I am broke and I am typically only working on 1 or 2 games at a time. But because titles are so long, I don't get to play every title ...
Xbox has the better games so sales don't really matter. Games are what matter.
The game was the perfect length for me. If you 100% games like I do sometimes, it extends a games life. I don't like games that are overly long.
Multiplayer is really not even a must for some games. If the single player experience is on point like in Wolfenstein: The New Order and like I expect it to be in ROTR then I am okay with it not having some tacked on mediocre multiplayer. I am also okay with multiplayer games not having single player like Titanfall but like I said before the multiplayer has to be on point. However, I also don't want to be charged a full 60 bucks for a game that doesn't have both modes.
You can, you just have to buy another Xbox and play on separate TVs.
Split-screen was a good feature, but Halo 5 not having it, is not a deal breaker as many games don't have split-screen included.
It's a great franchise for sure. So I personally believe it is one of the greatest franchises in gaming history, despite the fact that it has been milked to death and turned into an annual franchise. Call of Duty usually has a pretty good single player campaign, and the multiplayer is pretty decent, even though I personally find it repetitive and boring after a while.
Because there are already millions of suckers who didn't and now they are stuck playing Indie games, PS3 remasters and Vita ports. If you like multiplayer gaming and AAA exclusives, the X1 is a no-brainer. There is no real reason to own a PS4 right now. The PS4 is only selling well because it benefited from the hype of the PS3 and it's overrated exclusives.
It's true. I was initially going to buy a PS4(the Arkham knight edition) to be exact, but after Microsoft announced backwards compatibility at E3, I decided to buy an Xbox One. I was one of those people that was holding out because there were still games on 360 that I hadn't beaten or played and I also wanted to see which console would fare the best after a couple of years. There are probably many others like me. I have yet to regret choosing X1. I will probably get a PS4 in the futur...
It was a good game. I still play it to this day occasionally. Glad to see it sold well, so that maybe we can get a sequel. It would be cool to see them add a single player campaign in the future, but if not that's cool too as the multiplayer component was solid.
Most of those games are Indies, PS Vita ports, and Japanese games that most Americans will never end up playing. How about how many AAA highly rated blockbuster exclusives does one console have over the other? That would be more accurate in telling which console is dominating.
Do PS Vita gamers "trust" Sony?
He's right. Why would anyone want a PS4? Xbox One has the best exclusives, best multiplayer, dedicated servers, and it has backwards compatibility. PS4 is all hype and no substance. All PS4 has is indie games, PS3 remasters, and PS Vita ports.
