I feel like enough people have played Halo: CE, to where it doesn't even really need a remake. Remakes should only be for games that people might have missed or games that never received a proper update.
It should have been on PC and Xbox on Day One. Making it exclusive to PS5 was foolish. There's way too many games out here vying for gamers attention for Square to decide to only put the game on one platform.
Ok, but if PS gamers were so eager to play Xbox games wouldn't they have just bought an Xbox? And what if you put Xbox games on Switch 2 and PS5 and they still don't sell or do worse? After all there are already multiplatform games that don't sell well.
That's odd. I read another article with an interview from them saying they planned on bringing the game to other platforms. So which is it?
Good for Pearl Abyss. Making it exclusive to PS5 just means less people will play it.
Probably have to wait until the Tokyo Game Show. I imagine they'll port XVI first and gauge what type of reception it gets on Xbox before deciding if it's worth it to port the FFVII trilogy.
They could have made a switch cloud version like Control and RE VILLAGE. And FF does sell on Xbox, just not as much as on Playstation.
Not surprising seeing as the only people who can play it are PS5 owners. Leaving PC, PS4, Xbox, and Switch owners out in the cold was dumb. There's way too many other games to play to where I can't be bothered with this stupid exclusivity stuff.
It doesn't bother me either way. Obviously 60 is preferable, but the only game where 30 really bothered me was Redfall. That said, even some PCs probably won't be able to hit 60FPS on newer games.
I might pick it up on PC. I played it on PS4, but couldn't finish it because the framerate was so bad. It was a decent game, but I could see why some might not be interested.
At this point, I will probably just pick up the PC release. But I'm glad to see they might still be considering Xbox.
Not true. I bought Remake. But having to constantly wait for the next FF is getting old. FF XVI still isn't on PC/Xbox. By the time it releases, the next big thing will have come out and I don't care anymore.
I can't help but feel like that is a massive mistake by Square Enix. Kinda crazy how they invest so much money in these titles only to turn around and limit its audience to one platform. Even though I have a gaming PC and it'll come to Windows eventually, I can already tell I'm losing interest in this franchise.
Gotta admit that this is quite concerning. With digital only releases on console, you're forced to pay the digital storefront price or pay ever increasing subscription prices. This will also put local mom and pop game stores out of business. Not to mention you won't actually own the game.
False. Xbox GP has Lies of P, Exoprimal, Remnant 2, Starfield, Dead Space, A Plague Tale: Requiem, etc. Just admit you don't like games. Keep in mind Xbox and PC don't have the exact same Game Pass selection.
This just means they'll be missing out on a ton of great games in the future.
Probably would have done even worse if it wasn't on Game Pass.
Looks like Square Enix is finally realizing PS5 exclusivity was a big mistake. Hopefully, it releases on PC and Xbox on the same day. Also, Square could definitely benefit from releasing their smaller titles on Game Pass.
The price for PSVR2 is too high. It shouldn't have cost more than a PS5. Having consumers spend almost 600 bucks after buying a 500 dollar console meant PSVR2 was DOA.
For me price is the biggest factor. I refuse to pay $70 or $80 for one game. However, I bought a ton of games on Black Friday. Also there are enough good games on the subscription services to where buying a game seems unnecessary.
