Neither. Halo 5:Guardians will be the biggest game of the fall.
Xbox has the best exclusives so far. Anyone who thinks otherwise is just a biased fanboy. All PS4 has is Bloodborne and a bunch of PS3/PS Vita games.
Didn't realize Forza 6 and Fable Legends were pew pew shooters.
What a snooze fest. This is why I bought an Xbox One.
Think I am gonna pick up Arcana Heart 3:Love Max and BlazBlue as I like playing fighting games on the PS Vita.
Seriously?
You are on Uncharted 4, not including Golden Abyss
You are on God of War 4, if you include Ascension and not the portable titles
You are on Killzone 4, not including the portable titles
Sony milks franchises just like Microsoft does.
I actually like Lightning. I played XIII and XIII-2 and they were pretty good games, that received a lot of undeserved hate. I never got around to playing Lightning Returns but I will probably pick that up once BC becomes available on Xbox One.
Xbox has plenty of unique titles. Just because they aren't QTE interactive movies like Until Dawn doesn't mean they aren't unique titles. No Sony has titles that focus more on Story and less on gameplay.
Yeah, Yeah keep telling yourself the PS4 is selling more while us Xbox gamers are busy playing great games.
If Xbox wants to win more Japanese supporters, they need to get Sega to make Hatsune Miku games for Xbox One. The Japanese love Hatsune Miku. They also need some exclusives to appeal to Japanese gamers and the marketing to push those games in Japan.
I realize Scalebound is a Japanese game. But it is more geared towards a Western Audience in the same way that Metal Gear Solid and Resident Evil games are Japanese titles geared towards Westerners. Games like Sword Art Online, Phantasy Star Online, Disgaea, Persona, etc. don't really appeal to the majority of American gamers.
PS4 sold well due to hype. But Xbox is the console delivering on the games front. I don't play console sales, I play games and right now Xbox is getting Gears Ultimate, Cuphead, Fable Legends, Halo 5, Gears 4, Scalebound, Rise of Tomb Raider, Forza 6, Quantam Break, etc. along with all the best multiplat games. All PS4 has is indies, remasters, and Vita ports. Nobody wants to play Persona, Dragon Quest, Disgaea or Godzilla or whatever Japanese crap comes to the PS4.
I get that PC gamers get better graphics, resolution, FPS, etc. But PC gaming rigs are kinda expensive to the average person. I mean who wants to pay 1000+ bucks for a gaming PC, when they can pick up an Xbox One or PS4 for 300 to 400 bucks, all the while getting access to the biggest AAA blockbuster games that sometimes never appear on PC. To most gamers it simply doesn't make sense to spend that much money on a video gaming hobby.
Do you have a life?
I prefer games geared towards Americans and great Multiplayer, so I prefer Xbox One. I might eventually get a PS4, but for right now I am content with Xbox.
Xbox One owners had plenty of multiplat titles to keep them busy along with many people playing the MCC well into 2015. Plus Xbox had Ori and the Blind Forest, ScreamRide, and State of Decay Year One Edition as console exclusives for the first half of 2015.
Maybe, but the PS4 is running off unwarranted hype right now and PS4 fans are in denial that Xbox has the better games. Gears Ultimate, Rise of Tomb Raider, Halo 5, Forza 6, etc. are all heavy hitting titles this year. The PS4 doesn't have anything to go up against the juggernaut that is Halo 5:Guardians. If you enjoy great multiplayer gaming, you would be stupid to buy a PS4.
Same. I wasn't a huge fan of Fallout 3 and I got pretty far in that game. I will likely buy Tomb Raider first, just because I like action games with good graphics.
Most Americans don't play those Japanese games, that's why they don't count. If Americans played those Japanese games the PS Vita would have been a huge success.
I'm glad shooters got rid of health bars. There is a reason Call of Duty overtook Medal of Honor in popularity and that's because having a health bar in shooters sucks. It's not fun and it adds nothing to the game, it is just annoying. I personally felt like Wolfenstein: The New Order found the perfect balance in that you had both regenerative health and a health gauge. There is also a pretty good sense of danger in that game.
