That's the Blizzard way.
I'd like to know what the "Hippocratic Oath of game design" is. I googled it and there's no mention of it other than his article. He doesn't try to explain it himself. He just tries to bash parts of the game.
I know what the "Hippocratic Oath" is, but it has nothing to do with video games, so he should probably explain his game version of it.
He tries to put down Aloy, but from everything I've heard, she is one of the best parts. He even says in the comments, he wouldn't be surprised if everyone liked her. If he dislikes her so much, why would he think others would like her? He basically admits he is just being a hater. I actually think he went out of his way to not actually write her name at all, which is kind of odd since he spends so much time writing about her.
He attacks some unrealistic setting...
If they really were interested, this survey wouldn't have been only for Xbox Live Reward members. Kind of stupid if you ask me.
Article states it is only for non-members.
You'd lose access to everything you've already got.
Nearly bricked? What does that even mean. If it isnt bricked, it isnt bricked.
This is EU only as far as we know right?
GTA V original release was September 2013, which is less than 4 years ago.
So, in addition to the click bait, they can't do math.
Let's not even forget that it released on current gen in 2014 and sold millions.
On PC in 2015 and sold millions.
Continues to be a top 10 game in sales even being 4 years old.
@moldy
Your Nintendo comment actually counters the point you are trying to make. The only reason Nintendo still exists is because of their exclusives.... so how can you say they don't matter? If Nintendo didn't have Zelda and Mario, they'd be dead.
Exclusives certainly aren't the only deciding factor, but it is a major one... especially when comparing to other consoles. Exclusives are the major thing that separates consoles. Muliplats are virtually the same and Live/PSN are pretty much the same nowadays. I would say that exclusives and what your friends/family use are probably the biggest differences. Microsoft is losing people due to the games and that hurts them on the 2nd part (friends/family) as well.
@KillBill
Phantom Dust was supposed to be a complete reboot of the original game. That was cancelled. Instead all you got was a remaster with a bunch of paid DLC.
Project Spark is dead. You can't download it anymore and you can't use it anymore online. They refunded anyone who purchased it (prior to it being a free release). Considering it was supposed to be like a creation tool... with it being shut down... it was a failure.
Ubisoft thanks you for your free publicity.
Your guesses aren't a "preview", no surprise from this clickbait site.
But Nintendo has discovered that morons will pay for box art.
If owners chose to buy a system with terrible storage, then it is on them to pay for more.
Sony's first party games will graphically destroy anything MS has on Scorpio. Wont even need pro for it. That's why Scorpio dont mean jack.
Segata Switch sales have been very similar to WiiU. WiiU had sold over 3 million by end of 2012. That was 6 weeks in America and about 4 in Europe. Less than 4 in Japan. Wasn't even release in some regions by then.
Switch had a worldwide release on March 3rd and was at 2.74 million after 4 weeks.
So, it really isn't impressive. It was spurred by Zelda, which many people waited years for.
And they'll still require Plus or Gold to play online.
GOW4 Season Pass was $50.
How does it make those people feel when they just give away for free the biggest update ever?
