I think the headline is a bit dramatic. They quit their day jobs to start a new company. Doesn't mean they were broke or something. Re-mortaged their house doesn't really mean anything without any details. I remortgaged last year just to get a lower interest rate.

Just because you're in the game for a long time doesn't prove anything. The only reason why they are still here is because Microsoft was one of the biggest companies in the world before they even got involved.
Their billions of dollars got them through the financial disasters that the OG Xbox and 360 were. They've brought no innovation other than Live.

BigWan78, just because he makes games doesn't mean he knows everything. He hasn't done anything for Xbox except backwards compatibility, which is a cover for their lack of real new games, since he has been in charge. He literally said SP games aren't important. That is terrible for gaming.
Brad Wardell already hyped this for them back when they tried to act like DX12 would change the world.
