It's just like I'd expect from Apple - style over comfort. After I bought an iMac, I used the Apple mouse that came with it and it was very poorly designed. Way too small, not shaped to fit the human hand at all. I just bought a cheap replacement mouse and it is ten times better, and way cheaper than the Apple mouse.

How can you sat that when the PS3 was just outsold by the Xbox 360 worldwide in 2011? Or do you plan to just ignore the most recent year of sales?

5091d ago 5 agree8 disagreeView comment

I don't see how it's any better than the 360's 4 GB model. The PS3 has mandatory installs that will fill up that hard drive much faster.

The last one is least likely to come true.

You are linking to a site that shows the 360 at 67.4 million units as of today, while Microsoft announced the console had reached 67.2 million sales through March 2012... four months ago. I hope you are only using those numbers to try to prove a point, and you don't actually believe them. It's sad that people are withheld real information and fed these fake numbers. Anything to try to make their plastic box look the best, I guess.

It's got a special place in the Summer of Arcade lineup, so Microsoft is giving it the attention it deserves.

Those are some nice "screenshots" of Gabe Newell.

The PS3 is 3.3 million behind as of Sony's latest fiscal results, but that's beside the point when we are over 6 years into the generation. You speak of the 360 and PS3 as if they both started from the same situation, when they did not. The PS3 was the successor to the best-selling console in history, which absolutely dominated the video game industry with over 75% market share. The original Xbox was Microsoft's first console and could barely compete.

For the Xbox...

You think they're happy to go from 75% market share last gen to around 25% this gen?

5097d ago 4 agree13 disagreeView comment

The 3.3 million gap comes from the latest official numbers we have from Sony and Microsoft. Sony reported sales of 63.9M PS3 units through 3/31/12. Microsoft reported sales of 67.2M Xbox 360 units through 3/31/12. Where else would you find the sales gap than through Sony and Microsoft's quarterly financial reports? Don't tell me you use VGChartz, whose current numbers would suggest the 360 has only sold 100,000 units in the last 4 months. Ha!

@insomnium2

So if what you are saying is true, and the 360's sales are that inflated by the RROD, then that only makes the 360's software sales even MORE amazing. It already has the highest attach rate of any console as it is. Deduct total hardware sales for the RROD and the attach rate shoots up even higher, further embarrassing Sony and Nintendo.

I'm really undecided on this one. The other two True Crime games looked really promising, but they turned out mediocre. As for this being called the best open world game of 2012... what other open world game even released so far in 2012? Prototype 2? Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition?

I really enjoy the way Rockstar handles cutscenes, especially in Grand Theft Auto IV and Red Dead Redemption. I never feel the urge to skip them (even on subsequent playthroughs) because they are so compelling.

THPS HD is the first game of Xbox LIVE's Summer of Arcade. Why would anyone expect it to release at the same time on PS3 or PC? I don't care about this game, though. I'm way more excited about the other Summer of Arcade titles like Dust: An Elysian Tale, Deadlight, and Hybrid. Microsoft is just knocking it out of the park with XBLA this year! I'm a happy gamer.

@MrBeatdown "Gotta love how you went through the trouble of finding every last 360 exclusive you could, but didn't put the slightest effort into producing a list for PS3 and for some reason decided to compare it to a system that won't be out for any more than two months or so of 2012. "

-----

That's exactly what PS3 fans do in almost EVERY SINGLE ARTICLE talking about 360 exclusives. They create a list of every PS3 exclusive imaginable, ...

My top 5 of the year so far would be Fez, Trials Evolution, Alan Wake's American Nightmare, Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition, and The Witcher 2: Enhanced Edition. Microsoft has just been knocking it out of the park so far this year with Xbox Live Arcade. So many fantastic games.

My top 5 for the rest of the year would be Dust: An Elysian Tale, Halo 4, Deadlight, Forza Horizon, and Hybrid.

I don't doubt that Nintendo's games sold more, but don't use fake VGChartz "estimates" to back up your claims. It only weakens your argument.

Mine would be:

Max Payne 3
Fez
Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition
Mass Effect 3
Trials Evolution
The Witcher 2: Enhanced Edition
Quantum Conundrum
Alan Wake's American Nightmare
Journey
Dragon's Dogma

Except there are far more than 4 exclusive franchises that sell well on the 360, so your comparison is completely pointless.
