Xbox doesn't believe in generations anymore. Or do they have one more xbox coming?
It does leave a bad taste in my mouth when they say things like "halo won't get stale because our fans won't get stale" and taking shots at Zelda and horizon for not being multiplayer. Then with remedy leaving, their shady wording to try and trick people into believing times exclusives are exclusive and most xbox gamers not supporting stuff outside of gears forza and halo... More and more I'm thinking xbox just isn't being run with gamers like me in mind. I mean if...

@megaman I disagree. they make good stuff. Now I don't care for first person shooters for the most part, but I'll acknowledge their talent and praise it.
they expected more because Sony could have shown more. (sucker punch, ni no kuni, last of us 2 etc.) But they had to save something for all the other conferences. Heck, this applies to all of them. I want to see what MS brings to GDC, what nintendo offers up and TGS, what ends up closing the show at PSX.
There's still tons to look forward to.

did they fall sharply or just within what's normal? MS's stock, I seriously doubt will ever take a major hit or jump because of things like xbox, surface and such. their meat and potatoes is windows.

But it's important to keep in mind that not everyone likes gaming on PC. Heck, took me years to give it a go and even now I'm only on there for exclusives like her story and older games like witcher 1.
yeah, he's just stealth trolling. It's fine if you prefer xbox, as I prefer playstation, but don't call out one side while giving the other a pass because you like them more. Just makes you look like a fanboy.
I've got a pC as well, but I know I'm in the minority as far as my set up. A lot of PC gamers also have a console, but the reverse I've found to not be as frequent. Console gamers typically don't also have a gaming PC. So while someone like me got to sell my X1 and only miss out on one game (sunset overdrive) I doubt that's the case for most console gamers.
And now switch as well. X1X and pro are meant for people upgrading their current consoles as very few gamers haven't already got a PS4 or X1. the market that's left is going to be people that don't care enough about prettier pictures to pay an extra sum to go "oooh shiny". So from the people upgrading, for around the price of an X1X, you can get a ps4 and switch and be able to play just about everything.

Third parties are more than picking up the slack for multiplayer. I'd hate to see all games go that route. same way I didn't want all games to be shooters when COD's sales was the talk of the town. same way how I didn't want every game to be open world when linear somehow became seen as not something different but something inferior.
Far and away? no, ubisoft had one that was just as good.
So on the MS side, indies count now. ok
and on the Sony side, they recapped last year, and that's bad now but when MS did it last year it was fine. ok.
I wouldn't count FF7, that's a multiplat. Substitute with something like sucker punch's new ip or ni no kuni 2.

Well of course, they all held back. There's more than one conference for the year. Sure last year was great and all but if memory serves they had to cancel GDC because they blew their wad at E3.
