My two cents which I'm sure no one will read or care about:
from worst to best,
EA no reason needed
SE: Loved the old school style, but not enough awesome stuff shown.
Bethesda: pretty standard presentation but my problem will always be that I'm just not into first person games and with that in mind, Bethesda has nothing for me 9 times out of 10. Wolfenstein being the exception to that first person rule and evil within being that 1 time out of ten....

Not really unexpected though, MS has always done very little in the tail ends of each generation they're a part of.
Sorry, of which they're a part.

Agreed. I'm at a B. Gave me no reason at all to rebuy an X1, but has me interested to see what the next xbox will bring to the table.

@cueil If those 5 studios start making GaaS titles packed with MT and loot boxes, release unfinished with the promise of getting better with more content coming (so you re-up that game pass) and are just ok at best... then I'd say MS would still have a lot to prove. They talked the talk for sure, and I'm intrigued but I need to see them walk the walk. After all, they got me hyped before then closed lionhead, canceled scalebound, delayed CD3, Killed black tusk before it even had a ch...

Don't think the goal is to bounce back this gen, but rather to ride it out and come out swinging next gen.

that's cool. was planning on picking this up anyway, just a little added incentive now.

Sorry bioware, once my favorite developer but now part of EA, I 'll buy your game used if I really want to play it, but so far, I don't.

That's unfair. They bought studios that were only making games for them anyway, and created a brand new one. Ninja theory is the only exception that's hardly outside the norm.

To me the biggest problem MS has at E3 is follow through. Up to this conference, MS's best showing was 2014 I think it was, the "mic drop" one, and from that, the only game still standing id crackdown and interest has waned on that one.

@fishaz, that's a big matter of opinion. Consider this, I don't like first person games. What does Bethesda have for me?

If you take away cyber punk 2077, maybe.

3 of the 5 are no big deal. creating the initiative is fantastic. I can't wait to see where that goes. Ninja theory getting gobbled up is the one question mark for me. I hope they don't go the way of rare or just as bad, get micro managed to hell. Best case scenario would be for MS to be as hands off as possible even if they don't want to do multiplayer, season pass and micro transaction GaaS type titles.

That's true, I may be a le too optimistic considering the track record, But still, I'm rooting for xbox. Xbox one has nothing for me, but the next xbox has so much potential. 5 new studios is nothing to scoff at. t yeah, I should tone down my expectations a bit.

Could come in handy for someone who travels a lot.

I'm right there with you Xi, but for different reasons. what will run me out of gaming is going to be the take over of multiplayer, always online GaaS rubbish.

Good, you won't be disappointed. Just take my advice and don't stop after one playthrough.

Step further, great news for fans of nier. The more people buying and playing this game, the better.

Great news. The more people that play this game the better.

Maybe. For me, MS had one job and that was to convince me to buy an xbox. and they have me close to it, just not an xbox1. Halo/gears/forza I don't care about, If I did, I would have already owned an xbox. And most of what was shown is coming to PS4. So for Xbox one, still no interest. BUT, for that next xbox, they have me cautiously hyped. the new studio plus all the acquisitions are all good things, ninja theory being the one I'm worried about losing their creative freedom. ...
