Is there a real future for xbox one? Everything seems to be pointing towards them just riding the xbox one out until they can get to next gen for a do over.
LMAO! my comment of the day!
Originally they planned on it being switchable but somewhere along the way they felt they needed to make a decision and went with third person. Could have been a lack of money, lack of resources, time and effort not being worth it, who knows?
At the end of the day I repect their vision and wish them all the best in both critical and commercial success, but I don't like first person so I'll be skipping this one.
But to answer your question, yes it is cheaper based on...
Was a time that was true. It felt like "how dare you not have an Asian gender neutral solider that speaks german!" But it's going in the opposite direction now. now you see a lot of "That's a gay character! AGENDA!" The SJWs seemed to have shut up for the most part. just need the other side to do the same now and let devs make what they want and we play it or pass on it. Forced exclusion is just as bad as forced inclusion after all.
@MWH why do I have to relate to it to enjoy it? Maybe I want to hear a story from a perspective I never thought of. Maybe I'd like to see what something is like through someone else's eyes. Hell, you say it's because you can't relate, how many clickers did you run into yesterday?
It was, but as good as it was, the plot still shine more.
I remember when you lot were on board with "as long as the character just happens to be gay" (which is ideal to me, have it be part of their character but not the only thing that defines them) . Well you got that in the last of us. her sexuality played no role at all and you loved the game. Then when it was revealed that she was gay the whole time, all of a sudden it's "forced" this, agenda that and homosexuality needs to be a choice and blah blah blah. just play t...
first was the longest but I'm a bit of a compleionist. Average joe playing it? I'd say around the 8-12 hour mark. But, without spoiling, it's not just the ending that changes each time. each playthrough is very unique.
Nice, great even, But how about next year you slap a 360 degree camera in the front row so I can watch E3, PSX , what have you in VR while sitting next to Shuhei, or shawn or somebody.
Like rise of the tomb raider?
Honestly for me, the gameplay is an afterthought. the plot is where this game truly shines. 3 playthroughs to get the full story but it was more than worth it.
Yeah, not a fan of the 18 "exclusives" or the 20+ from the year before. so many multiplats with timed exclusivity get counted in those... like they're faking it until they make it but it's like they'll never make it.
the topic is exclusive games. And the biggest complaint against xbox in that regard is that all they have is halo/gears/forza. And all they showed of note was ... you guessed it, halo/gears/forza.
Sony showed 2 new IP both highly anticipated (GOT and DS), 2 returns to brand new IP (Nioh and TLOU) and a fresh new run for Spiderman.
Nintendo showed Smash, fire emblem and xenoblade among others. Granted less exciting to many than what Sony is offering but still way ahead ...
No matter what kind of exclusive it is, they always just have the deep voice say "exclusive". If it's a multiplat, then you get "world premiere".
Thing is a lot of them were just console launch exclusives (a way to try and trick people into thinking they're console exclusive, when they're really just timed. It's become my biggest pet peeve with xbox at E3. The closest I've seen Sony get to this is when they say "first on playstation&quo...
@jiggy7d
*sigh*
Yeah, as always with MS, I have to wait for results. They got me hyped before with things like black tusk, scalebound, cloud computing and all were let downs. Though they did deliver on backwards compatibility and getting more Japanese games. so as always, at best they get a "wait and see" from me.
And this is part of the reason why so many say Sony actually won E3. To me MS moved the needle over a bigger space, didn't reach Sony, but they made the most improvement of all parties involved, But honestly, even though I'd say MS won E3, they just can't touch Sony.
Already preordered. Plus majima is playable again? too sweet.
Hopefully Sega considers localizing the missing titles as well. Yakuza Kenzan in particular.
Sounds like ninja theory got a good deal and kept full creative freedom. Hopefully 1, MS doesn't go back on that tidbit, and 2, playground got something similar outside of forza titles.
Game length is on it's way out. It's all about map size now.
