I haven't been excited about BF ever since BF3 came out and started going down the same monetizing lane as COD. They started charging for map packs and breaking up the community and they added the Premium member crap, mimicking COD's Elite. Thank god I finally got a job again, I should have enough to get PS4 by launch and buy a Galaxy S4 phone soon after for apps 'n such.
Sweet, I don't think any of the DS4 features are gimmicks, glad to see devs utilizing them in unique ways so early. I especially love the touchpad, so many things can be done with it, and at the very least it can be used for extra buttons.

Then why even upgrade to a new console? They're still making games with great concepts and gameplay for current gen for a few more years. Going by your logic, there's no reason to even get a next gen system then.
It's even worse, because now the PS4 is even easier to program for than the Xbone will be. The Xbone has the ESRam, which may not be particularly hard to utilize, but it is another obstacle to go through that the PS4 doesn't have. So, things are way different than 2005.

LoL, funny that the highest quality of the Xbone vid is 720p and the PS4 vid goes up to 1080p. Not that that means anything when it comes to the final game res, I just found it humorous when combined with all other recent downgrade news for Xbone.

You also have to add the $50,000+ Paypal money to the total. It shows up separately. Hopefully they can reach the 3.3 million for a PS4 version. Though, even if it doesn't reach it, they'll probably keep taking paypal pre-orders beyond the kickstarter and will most likely bring it to next gen regardless at this point.
