it's really annoying that it's taking so long for Jak and Daxter to get any love with a new game.
When it comes to Gears, if for no other reason, this is great for the player count issue in multiplayer. Gears is a beloved franchise, but the player count has never been amazing, and with The Coalition taking over since Gears 4, it's only dwindled down further. So, having crossplay with PS5 now added to the Xbox/PC pool, would really put the game in a healthy spot player count-wise.
If they could get the Enemy AI raised a bit, I'd have more fun in these games.

They could make a few games continuing off the E-Day timeline. It's 14 years before Gears 1, and takes place over a few days. A 2nd game could overlap Gears Tactics timeline, which is 12 years before Gears 1. And so on. They can still continue whenever off the other side of the timeline with Gears 6+.

Exactly! If it's a good story that makes sense for a female lead, then yea, go with it. So often tho, these lazy devs/producers try to build hype around a female lead, when the movie/game is trash and has zero effort put into it, with all their efforts being pushed into advertising the fact that it's a female lead. It's really getting old.
GTFO. So sick of this dumb sh*t. Linkle is not needed, the sex switch formula is getting tired. Link is the Hero in Zelda, making him a female isn't any cooler, revolutionary, special or original. This idea is getting extremely cliche now.
@Shaggy2304, this doesn't look that bright. Also, the major complaint about the lights on the DS4 was that it drained the already short battery life even quicker. The DS5 battery lasts twice as long.

Yea, that's the only thing that remains to be seen. MS def brings top 1st party games simultaneously now, but that is something I mentioned to a friend that lost hype for PS5 after this news, that we don't know if they'll ever bring top games over to PC as a simultaneous launch. Horizon was over 3.5 years old by the time it came over.
I do feel they'll bring games over sooner than that, but even if it's a few months later, it can ...
Yup, especially knowing that most 1st party Xbox games go to PC, and now Sony says they'll bring more 1st party games to PC also.
This is about the dumbest article title. I'm not even going to the story. Sony's 1st parties alone can outdo any "mature" audience material gamers are looking for. This is getting sad, and I'm not even into the console wars.

LOL, my friends would always laugh at me when they'd come over and I'd be playing King's Field. I thought it was fun though. I agree with @UltraNova though, a remake would probably suck, and they should just make a new game in the series if anything.

Jak 3 evolved to open-world, had the action-adventure, and had more focus on the driving around. They could expand on that more, and have more of the puzzle solving.
