I only knew about DW8, but didn't mess with it really, because it was only in Japanese.

Could be Rayman. Does anyone know what's up with Metal Gear costing only $30-$40? Is it some non-full game or something? Cuz I see it's suppose to tie the story form the last Metal Gear with the next one coming out after, Phantom Pain. So, is Phantom Pain more of a full fledge game or something?

Ok, found it:

"Hideo Kojima says of the two games:

Ground Zeroes is only the prologue, so I wanted to separate it [from The Phantom Pain...

I wasn't copping regardless once I realized it's still $60. I thought I saw that it was like $30-$40, I must have mistaken it for some other game like Metal Gear. Anyhow, also hearing about the frame stuttering on PS4 despite it being 60fps, definitely not worth $60 imo.

LOL @ him still running back to Ryse. Get the hell outta here with that buuullllll shite.

Thank you! It's funny how people cheer at any game once they hear 60fps, like it's some crazy feat to achieve. Not when the game looks like it's made for last gen. I'm still dumbfounded Capcom outsourced this game, but they're just capitalizing off this whole 1080p x 60fps thing that's going on everywhere now. You don't get props for that when the game looks like it should run at 1080p x 60fps even on 360 / PS3.

It was always on my list just for the cool, arcadey, fun looking gameplay. We need a new video.

This dude needs to get acquainted with spell checker. There's no hidden reason in there, the power gap is the main reason for the 30fps vs 60fps. Xbone may be slightly harder to program for also, but they are basically doing what they did with 360 with the separate smaller ram pool, so it shouldn't be much of a learning curve. And the more time they have with both systems, the more each will shine further, and the gap will remain. Also, if devs start moving towards OpenGL with it taki...

I'd assume it's the mission creation thingy. It would be cool if there was online co-op though. Versus mode I guess could be fun, but a game like this, I'd be more hyped for co-op. Any multiplayer mode is welcome though.

Pretty cool, can't be mad at this.

Eh, not into the zombies in every game. Would be better to just go for unique alien types. A game like this would also be suitable for HD Sprites and smoother animation. They should be using something like Spriter to animate. I've been waiting for devs to do more Metroid type games forever though, so good to see someone atleast catching on and attempting it.

Just wiki'd it, some Russian guy in '94 made a DOS game called Shariki. Two games developed by Intelligent Systems and published by Nintendo followed, Panel De Pon in '95, and '96 Tetris Attack. Then Bejeweled by PopCap Games came out in 2001.

LOL, did they? Last I heard the game isn't even in sync when you play online. The gameplay looks shakey and combo stringing doesn't have the same feel as KI. The characters have more of a SFIV look to them than the cool CGI ray traced KI look. It got a 73 metacritic score, 6.3 user score. Not quite what you'd expect from a polished fighter, and for such a beloved franchise.

Strider is too big of a fan favorite that hasn't gotten much exposure to be just handin...

Yeah, you'd think they'd slow it down with that, now that we have to have PS+ to go multiplayer with retail.

I still can't believe Capcom outsourced this to Double Helix. Right after they recently stated they weren't gonna do as much outsourcing anymore, and handling their top franchises with more care. I'm not impressed with the art style or any of the gameplay I've seen so far. Why would they bring Strider back in such fashion? Morons, they deserve to be going bankrupt.

Well yeah, now with there being way more PS4s in homes than Xbones, and it being easier to program for, and with the more general positive response, and the easier to work with them as a small or large dev team. No matter how you look at it, it's bad news for Microsoft. Especially looking at the fact they still haven't changed some of their horrible policies they got away with on 360 just because of the vice grip they had back then. Like not allowing certain devs to make games on Xbox...

I'm a little regretful, just because I feel the OS and stuff definitely isn't in a complete state yet, which is part of all the problems happening with hardware/software at the moment. I just don't want it to break on me and have to go through all the troubles of replacing it. I'd rather have waited until the next version or 2 of internals, but that could take a year or so before they start doing that, so it's hard to say.

I haven't had any hardware is...

They're too busy throwing teams on projects they promised they wouldn't do, like Ultra Street Fighter IV. We should be playing SF5 by now, but they are doing what they do best, vamping all the life out of a good franchise. They went from not being sure they wanted to let the SF team make another fighting game - to blasting their way through to the 4th iteration of the same numbered sequel now. All while dropping other fighting games in the small gaps (MvC3, UMvC3 and SFxTekken). Now t...

I've been waiting for more info on this. I can't wait to see more screens or vids.

Yeah, they are basically just crudely maxing the hardware out with their current engine that is not optimized to the fullest for the potential peaks of the systems with the type of SDKs and middlewares that'll be out for them in a few months/years. It's not hard to max a system out in that raw power sense. Maxing them out is not possible yet in the sense that most people would think of when you say you're maxing out the system. However good the game performs/looks when it comes ou...

@PoSTedUP, I haven't played it. I have been avoiding RE since RE4, I don't like that it became an arcade style shooter basically since then. It doesn't help that every new RE that comes out they say "We're going back to RE's roots for this game." Yet they never actually do go back to the roots.

I'm hyped for The Evil Within, because it's made by the creator of RE. So I atleast know it'll actually be a survival horror game. I also am l...
