I also noticed there's no Capture the Flag. I don't get it, I guess they felt people weren't playing it, but still, I like Capture the Flag, and it's not anything to add it in, so I don't see why they had to be dumbasses and completely cut it.
It's true that the game looks nowhere near as good as the initial trailer, but it could have still been on a PS4. It had no AI running in the background and was just tailered to those specific locked off areas, so they could crank up the tessellation on the surfaces to have higher polycounts. I don't see what's hard to get about this. It's how they always do it, they start planning and looking into the next system within a year or 2 after the release of a system. He didn't say they were already working on anything, but ofcourse there's ideas that start swarming from early on. There might not even be another physical system after this gen.
Well, it becomes pay-2-win to an extent. Some of the add-ons and other guns give a great advantage. So, people paying will be able to always have some really top advantages.
The game is fun, don't get me wrong, especially when you are good at it and get kills, which is one of the reasons I still play, ofcourse that helps eleviate some of the frustrating issues.

The screen tearing is really what annoys me. The sensitivity and aiming in general also just seems that it isn't optimized for a controller in general. It's just the regular sensitivity settings for PC keyboard/mouse it seems, and you just have to sit there and adjust and adjust, you'll get it slightly better, but you can tell that it's not really done in a proper way for a controller's analog sticks like how COD is.

Well I found one and ordered it 2 days ago at BestBuy.com. I was waiting for a launch edition one, cuz I wasn't about to dish out $500+ for a combo I didn't even want. It sucks that BestBuy is one of the places that charges online taxes though. So, I ended up paying $423.99 anyways, just as if I walked in the store.

Yeah, once he mentioned and showed that the settings options weren't the same, it was kind of a pointless test. Though, Gabe Newell has already shown that Linux can run the same Windows software with little to no alteration at a much better framerate, so I do expect better performance in SteamOS in general.

Again, this is a publisher that makes videogames, and they are ridiculously anti-consumer with all their policies and ways of doing business. I don't care how they treat employees, it doesn't change the fact that they treat who should matter most to them(they're consumers that feed them) - like garbage.
Both Microsoft and Sony are bad for charging a fee to play online. This time around Microsoft atleast has cheap dedicated servers that developers can't rent. Sony has no such thing. You should never be charged to play your games online, especially if who's charging you isn't providing the online functionality to the games you're playing.
Steam doesn't charge you to go online, or to download from their store. Neither Microsoft nor Sony are saviors right now...
