I would need one if I was doing more stuff on PS4. I've got a Gold headset dongle plugged into 1 slot and a flashdrive for the music app in the other. It's corny that we can't copy music to the hdd yet, and that we are forced to need adapters like this right now. They need to get that DLNA going on PS4 already, and not through things like PLEX (which I'm pretty sure is gonna be a $ app on PS4, it won't be free like it is now through browsers from what I've read.) If th...
Yet another reason no one should be forced to pay to play their games online on PSN.
"With regards to their Steam comment -- why would they say such a thing, publicly, when they are making a Sony (timed) exclusive as their next title? Seems like a bad move."
Maybe it's to give Sony/MS a kick in the pants. It's not like Sony is gonna drop them or their game for the comment. It wasn't a crazy disrespectful comment or anything, just truth. Sony has already talked about trying to be more open anyways, so it should only be able to help by hav...
Well, just another reason we shouldn't be paying. Have you played any COD multiplayer games recently? Ghosts was good for the first few months, until they started phasing out the hybrid dedicated servers or whatever they wanted to call it. The same started happening with AW already, with disconnects happenings more often. The standards are not up to par for paid servers if this is what we're paying for.
You want a cookie for allowing PS4 to do what PS3 does all-year-round Sony?
@IGiveHugs2NakedWomen,
I didn't mention it in comparison, I only mentioned it to say I already own Isaac on it. Pay attention.
What makes it worse, is that they don't even take any part in making the multiplayer better quality. It's still whatever developer/publisher is making the game that deals with all the p2p or dedicated servers. If they assured us that all these games would have quality dedicated servers, then they'd have an argument for the forced sub. They don't do any of that though, they are just standing there as a middleman demanding money. It's very stupid, so if I wanna play Street F...
If it was so great, it wouldn't be forced as a paywall to get to your multiplayer tab in games. Mine ran out the end of November, and as of now I don't see any good reason to renew it. You're just renting the free games, because as soon as your sub runs out, they all get locked. I see why many gamers are buying Wii U's now. The current line of exclusives on it are destroying Xbone and PS4, despite the huge power gap in hardware. There's no good reason we should be paying t...
I hear you, soon as I saw the title I smh.
I remember MS basically forcing Epic to charge $ for Gears of War map packs. Epic was strongly against it, and MS caused the first map pack to be delayed like 3-5 months or something. Epic was being very transparent on the net about what was going on and how greedy MS was being. They had 1 more big meeting, after that, they stopped being transparent and the map pack came out as paid $DLC. I guess they got hit in the head with bags of $$$ from MS, and were told to shut up.
Been saying this forever.
Hehe @ the X-Band mention, me and a friend actually had that for a little while for Snes. We'd play MK2 on it, it was horrid, and you had to pay for the service.
Hmm, I wonder what race I'd choose.
Those are some quality mods right there.
same here
Not sure I like the idea of stance change, if it's anything like the MK games.
I wish it would follow your head and keep it in the profile box when streaming and stuff. It's annoying that you have to position it to the exact position you are at and not move out of the box. I like all the stuff they showed they were working on for it on the SDK side of things recently, they just need to get it going.
What's the point of articles like this for games that look like Magicka? It's like Namco bringing out a new Pacman game and feeling the need to make it clear to us that it'll be 1080p x 60fps. Magicka should be 1080p on PS3 also, it's not gonna help you sell games like this to brag about 1080p(except to the dummies).
I remember hearing about the Director on this game being asked about it years ago and him saying something to the effect of, "I wish it would just go away." I don't have much faith in this project, Namco has had problems putting out quality with their own fighter franchises, let alone a crossover game.
Mario looks more like the Kool-Aid Man there.
