It started mainly as a black market currency, but it has evolved.

Interesting.
Oro FTW! That was my main.
Yeah, but those days are over in most states. Cali and Japan are the main places that still have kinda thriving arcade scenes. I'm in FL, and it's definitely dead down here. Snes was the first real console home for it after arcades.
I'm just focused on getting all the new details and footage of the game first though, before jumping for joy that it's on PS4 - cuz I've been scared for the last few years that Capcom is gonna crush SF like they've done eve...
AVGN isn't good anymore. He lost his funny a while back. All his early stuff is awesome though.
Angry Joe is definitely right about one thing, the big wigs at Capcom Japan are freaking morons. They have been running the company into the ground for years now with piss poor decisions back to back. Most the decisions stem from a short-sighted greedy mindset, with no forward thinking involved.
@imt558,
I wish they could find a way to bring back Discworld.
NDS had a decent one. It was just a bit kiddy and easy though. It played sorta like Zelda 2, which is why I liked it.
The best way to respond to that announcement made at Playstation Experience is no one buying that PSX port on PS4.
I wish they'd do like Killzone and Garden Warfare and keep PvP stuff free, that way it doesn't split up the community. They have tons of customization stuff that they sell already.
Yeah, I wish I loved Guilty Gear more, cuz that XRD looks insane. It does basically the best cell shading I've seen that stays looking 2D cartoony. It does it even better than those Naruto games that do the cell shading super well from last gen. I need to try out the demo more, cuz I've only done the tutorial and seen it do the 3D stuff slightly. It does look incredible though, how much it looks like a 2D cartoon.
Well, the point isn't that there'll be other editions, which I'd say is basically a given with SF. The point is that there could be a possibility that other editions might not be exclusive to PS4/PC.
Whoa, one thing mentioned in that article that I hadn't even thought of - is how any new editions of SF5 could possibly go to other platforms. Like Super or Ultra SF5 maybe, I could see Capcom doing some crap like that, then saying, "No, we said SF5 was exclusive to PC/PS4, not SSF5." I guess it all depends on how the deal is written out and the full role of Sony's involvement in the development of the game.
Did the PS+ version release yet?
I'm not gonna lie, I feel bad for last gen and X1 gamers. I don't know how huge the fighting game fandom is nowadays, but me and my friends are huge SF fans spanning back to the arcade days of SF2(Even a little bit of SF1 for me, when it had 2 pressure sensitive wack-a-mole type buttons for punch/kicks).
I think my friend that got a Wii U cuz it has the more fun games right now, will end up upping to PS4 once this and a few 2015 blockbusters release. Though he does ha...
Years ago, when 4 was releasing, they mentioned Focus Attacks were suppose to be the welcoming factor. They also mentioned that 5 was suppose to be more for hardcore gamers and not necessarily have such a function in it. Though, Capcom doesn't always stick to its words, so maybe 5 will also have some functions in it to make it easier for beginners. I just hope they don't ruin the game by trying to broaden it's audience the way they've done with so many other of their beloved f...
Oh sh*t! Boyes just said PS4 will be the only console SF5 ever appears on. Dunno how that can be backpedaled on. It has PC-PS4 cross-plat play also, pretty cool.
Ok, cool, they just seemed so NPC in movement 'n everything. Though, it would be sweet to have both, PvP and be able to bring your team up against bots in little side missions.
That looked like co-op vs the CPU. If so, this would also include PvP, right?
Whoa, this is the 2nd time the series has steered away from point 'n click I believe. I hope it still carries the humor with it.
To be honest, how is adding DLNA hard?
