Also, without the day 1 update for legacy controller support and whatever else is packed in it. So expect the initial size on day 1 to be over 24-26+GB. 12.4GB + 6.4GB + 4+GB. Then first DLC character in march, and whatever alt costumes/stages may come inbetween then and the story update in June. And only growing from there.

It uses Double Helix's networking code. Anyone know if that's suppose to be good net-code? I assume it's what's used in KI on X1, never played it though.

I just mentioned to my friend a day or 2 ago that it's weird there hasn't been an Onimusha in so long. If they did a new one, and actually put proper effort and a real budget/timeframe into the development, it could be amazing. They could use the Panta Rhei Engine, once it's finished, along with Deep Down that they're using to flesh out the engine.

I hear ya, I was gonna wait and upgrade to a 2TB. Instead I just upgraded to a 1TB SSHD a few days ago, cuz I rather the slightly faster boot-up and very slight possible performance boost of the SSHD. By the time it's about to be filled up, there'll surely be tons of pretty large games I don't touch at all and can easily delete, before feeling the need to go beyond 1TB. Put the PS4 500GB in my 120GB PS3 Slim. So, now I can start getting PS+ games on there again, though I usually o...

We've been discussing it on the Capcom boards, alot saying it's white washing. With a few, including me, that feel it's the horrific quality of the art.

Capcom probably gave Bengus some insultingly low amount of $$$ and time to get the art done in. Because there's no way anyone can rationalize that the quality of the stills we see in these character stories and in the tutorial are anywhere near Bengus's ability.

Them mentioning it's Be...

I actually had a pretty damn good win ratio in the beta. I'm not a fan of FAs in IV, for the fact they allow you to escape punishment when you whiff, but I respect that it was a polished game in the end. And I never said I make everything happen, just that I actually contributed some decent ideas to the point they used some in the actual game. So yeah, I'm definitely a die-hard SF fan, but not a sucker.

SFV so far, visual presentation-wise, is very sloppy and there...

And to add to how involved and invested in SF I am, Capcom actually sent me a thank you gift years ago after SF4 vanilla came out. Because I was one of the few people on the Capcom board who's ideas/suggestions they used in I believe SSF4, because it was too late to add to SF4. They never stated which ideas they took, but I always assumed they atleast took some of my multiplayer modes/options ideas.

They sent me a thank you letter with an Okami themed bathroom incense bow...

Yes, that's the cinematic story. Why would that make it ok for the regular character stories to be of crap quality? You're not making sense. I've played SF since SF1 in the Swap Shop with the original 2 whack-a-mole pressure sensitive K-P buttons. Get outta here with the crap. I'm not sucking up to Crapcom. They've ruined every other non-killable top franchise they own.

I'm not gonna sit back and say this looks good and let them just dig SF into the di...

What, the cinematic story? What does that have to do with the character stories being of such low quality with such horrid artwork? I don't even blame Bengus, it was obviously a rush job, where he was given a crappy small timeframe to get it done in. They keep bragging that it's famed Bengus doing the stillscreens, yet the quality nowhere represents his ability. My opinion is that it's crap so far.

Eh, sounds like the story is prolly gonna be lackluster, and just thrown together in a rush, like the stillscreen art that goes with it. Oh, go fight him, ok, now go fight her, alright, go fight them now. I don't see the effort in trying to pull people in and rejuvenating the story with what I'm seeing here.

I have a feeling Q and Oro will make it to SFV. With all the illuminati experiment stuff and even main scientist in the game, maybe even someone like Necro will make a return, along with other new experiments like Necalli.

@Jinryo, not everything, they annoyingly don't always make it clear, but anything game changing. So balance updates, characters, and I really hope all stages will be FM earnable. Stuff like outfits will be a mixture of Zenny-only (real $) and FM earnable.

Lol @ the name Toby, haven't checked that char out yet.

He's on PC also. It would not be cool or make sense for PS4 to have a character that isn't on PC also, considering it's crossplay PS4/PC.

Yea, some of the hair fits the character model style, like Ryu or Bison I guess. Then other hair looks too plasticy or whatever like Ken, maybe Mika too. I'm not sure if it's still an issue, but a few betas back Necalli and Mika's hair would randomly flail around with wonky physics all glitchy like from time to time.

I do like the cartoony animation style that captures personality, especially Birdie's. I wish more work was put in to stop all the ridiculous amo...

I played this last beta even on PS4, same horrific backgrounds, and everyone and their mother have mentioned the slowdown issues on pc and ps4. Seems to be a performance bug in training while waiting for a match. Though alot of people claim it continues for them online also.

Forget oversexualization, how about worrying about the horrible visual presentation. Stages look like horse sh*t, crazy low quality textures and low polycounts. Character models' hair, body and clothes clip through each other badly nonstop. Physics are wonky. The game slows down nonstop to unplayable levels in training. Nothing is consistent, like only 1 stage having interactions.

I swore the tutorial story stills were placeholder when I first saw it cuz the quality. Ofco...
