To be honest the ds4 is perfectly fine, especially with the more lenient inputs of SFV, and other newer fighters like Skullgirls.
Hori Pro V Hayabusa Silent here.
I bought this for $180 on Amazon last August. I didn't realize the stick is about 1 inch further away from the buttons than the Kai. I probably would have waiting until December when the Silent version of the Kai came out. I'm still happy with it though, and have been using it a little bit for USF4, and just recently Skullgirls 2nd Encore.
The stick being digital is very nice and all you hear from the stick is it hitting the edges however hard you smash into the corne...
How long must we wait for a Capcom Vs SNK 3? Not done in MvC3 style or SF4 style either. Make it unique, and put some quality into it, unlike the lackluster visuals of SF5(especially stages/npcs look horrible and 2 generations old).
This is why you don't force people to play online. Just provide a good pay service to where people want to join. Don't lock online behind a paywall, now they just look like jackasses nonstop that can't handle their sh*t.
Unless they do the approach they're going for with SFV. Charge for the game, then have all game-changing DLC earnable through in-game currency or immediate through $, and other DLC would be a mixture of $$$-only and in-game currency earnable.
I got the Pro V Hayabusa Silent. I really like it, though the Kai would have probably suited me better. If I'd known the stick is further from the buttons on it, I'd have waited for the release of the Kai Silent.
I'd be worried, with them not being confident in their work in other areas already, there's a chance they'll screw that up. Though, I do like where the story timeline is pointing at, getting into the illuminati/G Project type stuff with characters like F.A.N.G in there. So maybe there'll be more experiment characters like Necro coming as new to the series.
Plus, if you're getting those fighting games to play online, it's gonna be streaming, so it's not as good as just owning the game on a certain platform. Especially if it's like Street Fighter 4 or something, where you need the 60fps with no lag that the streaming brings.
I do remember finding this the most fun of all the SNK roms years ago. I'm not sure I played this one on consoles or in arcades or wherever it originally released. It is a fun game with great movesets for the characters.
Next Level stuff!
I got on and played it on PS4, pretty cool that SF Alpha Ken and Ryu skins are in there. I wonder if all chars have them, all the people hating on fat Birdie would be elated.
That's what I do, it still will show your main PSN avatar though for alot of games in-game menus and such.
I'm really excited about it, it sounds fun. I'd like a Nightmare on Elm Street and Halloween done similarly. I was hoping it'd be one of those kickstarters that blows up crazy, so they'd have enough budget to make it as polished as possible. It started out well, it's struggling now though. They need to start getting more articles thrown out there in the last week to get it boosted again and shoot past that KS goal.
Yeah, Capcom's overdoing it on those Valuable and Volcanic Edition prices.
What makes it worse, is you know the connections are gonna start degrading over the months very very quickly. As soon as the new content comes out and the player pool starts getting fragmented, it's basically over for those that don't buy all the $$$$ DLC.
That's why what EA does with PVZ, Guerrilla Games does with Shadowfall, and now Capcom with SF5 - is the way to go. It's really just the old PC way, of allowing the content to also be gotten free or with in-...
I have a Pro 5 Hayabusa Silent. If I'd known the Kai's had 1-2 more inches between the stick and the buttons, I'd probably have held off for this one.
I wish she was a lil darker and had atleast a slight Brazilian accent. Her moveset is pretty cool though, I'd love to hear her electricity ability gaining story.
There's a little software out there called C2(Construct 2) by Scirra, and it is a more visual way of programming. You still will have to learn some of its language, but its 'help' and kinda tutorial is built in, and there's tons of example files to download and just follow instructions from the user made tutorials section at Scirra.
I started messing with it years ago, but just recently started getting good, by recreating old fun levels. I made a Mario World 2...
It does go down too often for a paid service. It's also embarrassingly sad that trophies still need syncing, feels like it's not so upgraded over ps3 psn. They need to take some of those well bragged about profits and put it back into upgrading the service.
