you can use natal and also use a controller.
Would've been nice to see someone from ME make the list since the game has great story, characters and voice acting.
I wonder if MS will start implementing 'waypoint' like features on the 360 for developers like Ubisoft, and if sony's Home will take advantage of this uplay thing.
IMO a lot of this is due to fable 2 and the outside game features they developed, the xbla pub games, the web games, etc, really set a bar for gaming outside a console platform and even developers like bioware followed suit with dragon age.
Even if was a stand alone single-player rpg it's in my opinion the best rpg ever.
Anyone else thinking that it'll be Sony-remote and Natal capable?
Sure it wasn't the most well designed, or the most fun, but it was a necessity for the progression of game design and videogames in general.
Videogames still have this 'toy' mentality to them and in my opinion we need more of this style of level to break away from this concept and move into the same realm of movies, books and art. This level is one of very few that actually makes good use of the videogame genre. In no other medium can a person undergo the same action as in that s...
math are goods.
thara 3million 360s and 1 millions are ban and 33% are rr0d and that means only 1 million 360s are realz.
That's what you sound like.
another 200k on top of 1.5million from last month is very nice.
I love how positive comments get you disagrees and bubbles taken but console bashing doesn't.
are all based off of download services like steam and Direct 2 drive.
those are some interesting numbers if you think about it.
That's at least 100 million dollars worth of xbox live service subscriptions.
I think it'd be interesting to see Microsoft and Valve work something out for live and steam integration.
Star-fox adventures
the only gamecube game that they made
If anything, after being purchased by MS they've begun to increase in quality again, and make more games.
didn't gamswire did all those shots of Foza vs GTHD where they purposefully chose misleading shots?
Yeah, I don't really trust them.
I actually think that this section does an extremely large ode to gaming.
It helps elevate it from mere 'child's toy' to art. It forces you to preform an action that makes you think. And it does something that only gaming could do, you can't simulate being a war criminal/terrorist in any other medium.
The casual market still views gaming as childish, and the more of this that occurs the sooner videogames will finally be seen in the same light as movies and books. If ...
I think the 360 is one of, if not the, most balanced console for games. It has a ton of rpg's action adventure games, 3rd person shooters, sport titles etc. If any console is being fps specific I'd say it's the ps3.
I'm most excited to see the results of the Xengine that is rumoired to help push the visual fidelity of 360 games.
I think using the original halo is a bit of a misnomer for what the original xbox was capable of, specially comparing it to cod which was released like 4 years later.
They create concepts then pitch them to developers to make the game. Just like tecmo is doing the new metroid other M, ms will do something similar with pgr and they'll hire an outside studio to develop it.
EA doesn't own Valve, EA is only their publisher, just like how id prior to being purchased by Bethesda used EA as a publisher, and why rage will also be published by EA.
Valve doesn't develop on the ps3 because the studio doesn't have the resources to develop a product good-enough to meet their expectations. They also don't want a repeat of the orange box fiasco, so until they have a team dedicated to the ps3 they wont develop for it.
Bioware is an awesome company, ...
It was funny, had great graphics, the dog and ai was awesome. The costumes and customization is still the best in videogames to date, and the ai social features are better then most sim games. The job system was fun and the economy features were neat. The online was fun and interesting too, seeing the floating orbs and racing was fun.
If it had a more epic story and maybe a more mmo style mission objective system (because it's such an open world style game) it'd be better.
But I don't think the game sold well, VGcharts are the only numbers I know of.
It's my second or third favorite snowboarding game after. IMO it's right up there with amped, twisted edge, 1080, ssx and coolboarders. It's a snowboarding version of skate.
If you find a copy I highly recommend it.
